Pretty sure he still is capable. That's a 270 for a paused single at 89kg bw. He did 320 as a 96kg bw athlete. Pretty sure he hit 310 earlier this year at his current bw. Beast
i am so much more impressed by these two than any other juice head, tren monster who can do 300lbs more - their form and natural strength is second to none
I can't wait to see the big day, they are just incredible. Tian Tao continues to be one of my biggest Olympic lifting influences, I cannot wait to see what he does in the Olympics!
Theyre standard in most training halls in general, but in China they tend to use blocks instead for squats which is why you see chinese lifters missing the racks so often lol
@@ghostedblinker_samsonpill the chinese mobile racks are so much better though. i frequently miss the half rack i have at my gym. it just feels so flimsy. and the legs/feet always get in the way. i custom built the ones they use at the chinese gyms welding it and making it adjustable. they feel so much safer... can't go back now
Tian Tao is up against Karlos and Li Dayin. Hopefully he'll make it to the Olympics as he's 29 year old already. It usually get much harder after 30 and the next Olympics after this year will unlikely see him. In a way, this is somewhat his last chance to snatch a ticket to compete in the Olympics. I won't be surprised if he's going to retire next year. He's done it before...
I agree they are probably on peds but powerlifters juiced to the GILLS take a deload week right before competition. So it’s fascinating to see and try to understand different methods of strength development. @@reactrandurtle603
They can afford to juice more than their competitors, so can train heavier very close to competition. It isn't fair but who cares about fairness, I just want to see freaks lift heavy ass weights.
That is absolutely insane to watch. Both did 600 lb squats but the other guy did 640 lbs. At 5 foot 10 and 190 lbs I have a hard time just walking up a somewhat steep hill. Tian is looking, uh, more healthy than I remember too. Like he looks pretty trim.
I always wondered how strong these guys bench presses are than I see him casually rep 220lbs on a strict press. Bruh can at the very least casually do 300lbs on BP.
I really hope Tian puts together a performance that gets him to Paris.
Bro just casually strict pressing my C&J for a triple. 😂
He squatted 320 at one point! Beast of a weightlifter

5:50 that is so impressive
holy shit. These guys are beasts
290kg squat that’s insane power

❤❤❤❤❤
Tian is the only person in the WORLD than can beat karlos in the clean and jerk
Tian makes his cleans look much easier than everyone else especially Karlos... but it's his jerk holding him back...
Karlos did 238 in training. Good luck 😀
@@fluxeorswndic lol where
@@fluxeorswndic WUT ? Why did he miss 224 twice then ...?
More like 228 in training, that I can believe
@@IamLEGENDkb24 I wish he jerked in split, he would haven been a legend
I can’t understand how they can recover from daily workouts at 90+% max effort

No more Tian "Fail to rack" tao?
5:45 Jesus christ, what depth at that 270kg paused squat. Dude is a beast! (but we all knew that)

there is 95 % chance he wouldnt even go to the olympics.
He's already a silver medallist from Rio
These stands can’t be the safest thing to rack huge weights on right? Why are they the standard equipment in competition training halls?

Same racks are used for powerlifting as well
@@user-tz9jh6pv2j i agree, ive never really liked the way that standard racks feel and i much prefer doing my rack movements off of jerk blocks
DID BRO JUST OHP 100KG FOR REPS????????????????????????????????
Can’t wait for Tian Tao masterclass and Karlos disasterclass on Saturday🤫🤞🏾
Cmon bro we all know Karlos can’t be stopped
In for a rude awakening, lil bro
Karlos will take his soul.
To think he squatted this at 17 lmfao
SJJ always delivers the best content!

Sadly these stupid Oly rules don't allow for major countries to have many lifters...
Godspeed to him though, he fought like a champ til the very end
why belt at only 70kg ? Is it not good to use the belt as little as possible to improve core strenght ?
Is it just me that thinks Tian is looking smaller and gigachad is looking huge?
I think Gigachad moved up a weight class, so it’s not just you.
89kg to 102 kg...
@@IamLEGENDkb24 cheers mate, yeah I’ve since learned that. No wonder, he looks huge.
Wouldn't training this way make you weaker on the day? How do they recover so quickly?

Yeah good question, seriously, why do they train heavy before comp?

He honestly doesn’t look like he’s 89kg. I can’t believe him and Carlos are in the same weight category
Insane that Tian is still a better squatter than Liu at over 10kg lighter bw. God tier legs

你能告訴我他們的膝蓋上是否裹著冰袋嗎?
是的

It’s little concerning that the speed of his 270 is slower than he did in previously competition, at which he also dis 290
Still cleaned 226 quite easily
What’s in that little bottle that they drink?????
