My dear Clarice ♥ You made me want to try these... beginner friendly flowers 💐 ☺ Also going to check out your other Filbert brush video! Oh, I made my own version of your big loose Valentine's floral heart ❤... couldn't remember exactly how yours looked but my husband loved it... I can't always make a simple loose flower turn out like I want! So thank 😊 you as well for your gracious teaching style and encouragement! Love ❤ your paintings, a grateful California Gramma ❤
I love your painting style it is beautiful very elegant and sophisticated I enjoyed watching you paint I will continue to watch you and learn from you it's amazing!
I have a couple of Gilbert's so I'm definitely going to try this! And I love the idea of small projects to try as a form of relaxation and distressing! x
@@ClariceGomesdesigns hi Clarice , I did indeed! I've been practicing with them but not been too successful with the peonies. I love the different Mark's they make and have some ideas. Will tag you in anything I post where I e used them! x
@@thepoodledoodlepainter please do. Sorry to hear, the peonies are giving you issues. Keep at it, and when it gets frustrating, move on to something that's more enjoyable. Come back to this later. Always works 😉
I just received the Princeton Select Filbert brush in the mail today - I'm so excited! I just completed your first tutorial & I enjoyed learning how to use this brush - thank you Clarice. Excited to move on to Part 2 now. Happy painting!! :-D
@@ClariceGomesdesigns no, I did not get the chance to go any further. I had to have tendon transfer surgery on Tuesday from my index finger to thumb. I was still healing from a right radius/wrist fracture in that same hand, my dominant hand. I'm so bummed I can't paint & not knowing what my end result of the surgery will be. Painting WILL be part of my rehab! I am playing in my paints using my left hand. Any suggestions???
I just wanted to add my 2 cents wort that the entire Princeton Heritage line (not just the filbert) are fabulous synthetic brushes, they do not hold as much water as the Black Velvets, but they offer much better control for beginning artists!
Hello Clarice, I’ve been wanting to explore the filbert brushes but was nervous... After your great tutorial I feel confident about purchasing one (or more 😊). I love your teaching methods!! Thanks Much!.
This was one of the best demonstrations I have seen for the filbert brushes ( and it was a great lesson on flowers!).
I love your style of peony.
Thank you Lisa🥰
Your floral videos have been so helpful! Thank you for all the information and inspiration!
You use the brush in such a cool and creative way. Your shell palette is incredible!
