What is NSAT? | Tips to prepare for the entrance exam | Newton School of Technology

To qualify for the program, all applicants must apply for NSAT - Newton Scholastic Aptitude Test.
The test is divided into 3 sections: English Comprehension, Logical Reasoning & Mathematics.
The duration of the test is 2 hours. This is an online test that can be taken from anywhere.

Thanks for your interest in NST! As long as you've finished 12th grade from a recognised government board, got PCM in 12th, passed in 2022, 2023, or 2024, and scored at least 50%, you’re good to apply!
So, if you nail the NSAT and breeze through the interview, you'll still need to pass that compartment to get your admission sorted.

When it comes to the cutoff for NSAT, it varies depending on factors like test difficulty and how everyone performs in that round. Generally, top 10-15% of the scorers are shortlisted in each round. Your scores will be normalised to a scale of 10, where achieving 8/10 is considered above average.
