some people have ADHD and it will make them more hyped up, and focused
some people it can make them tired and lethargic (usually at higher doses)

It's Vim so half of his keystrokes are probably hotkeys to navigate and what not

I'd be curious to understand the thought process of you guys when you are choosing your language in function of the application you are coding at the moment. There is so many different languages now and different flavors of languages and different libraries and good version vs bad versions... When I was actively "coding" it seemed a lot more simple, you had ASM, C, C++ and if you were a special kid like me you could use (visual) basic. Maybe I just doesn't get it but I feel like now we have more coding languages than we even have coders. It's like if last month you had to use this language but this week it's this other thing and for some reasons tomorrow you'll need to learn this other language... How are you guys not getting lost in all of this?

We need this to output and react upon a velocity value that is based on termperature, atmospheric pressure would benefit our team tremendously. The higher the velocity, the faster it particulates.

I could not get Instant.nvim to work when i I tried it out. Somehow I still lack rust analyzer, really need to fix up my nvim config (I sometimes use helix btw)
A mixture of the "nvim from scratch" playlist by christ@machine and Prime's "Neovim RC from scratch" has me with a pretty good base config. So far rust-analyzer works pretty well for my uses, though I'd like to get deeper debugging tools.

I just skipped toward the end but your "normalize"/"mutate" method could be looked at mathematically as a thresholded convolution multiplied by the original input.. not sure if that makes for a better name.. perhaps just "prune"..
In any case, generalizing it as a convolution that you then threshold and then multiply against the original would be less efficient.. but it would allow you to more readily expirement with different kernels.

Had a similar issue with Python recently, had assumed floor and ceil were towards and away zero instead of absolute. Feels wrong it is not how it works....
