Another A+ Sir, this has the "Now You Shred" special extras that transcends the usual minor blues backing tracks found on RUclips. keep up the excellent work!
I use my CS Postmodern Telecaster on the bridge pickup, tone around 5 or so, just enough to jazzify it a bit, to methenyfy it a bit. Delay, lil bit of moded reverb in stereo. I forgot... The best compressor money can buy: the Carl Martin Andy Timmons Signature. Then I go for long motives that I try to develop. I work on storytelling with that sound. Long phrases, questions and answers, tension/resolution... The usual. But YOUR backing tracks are the best. I don't play many others... Production is great, it's stylish, not bland.... Thanks for the good work!! By the way, I can't find one of the Pink Floyd ones... The Dark Side Of The Moon Dmajor jam, or was it G? Idk. Do you know where it is? It was glorious!
That is a great pedal. A compressor/limiter, with two compression presets, for rhythm and solos, or however one wants to use it. I hear people say that this compressor or that one, is “transparent,” not changing the guitar tone, but most compressors in pedal form, just seem to create too much extra noise, volume increases gain, when before my drives, depending on what I’m doing. The Carl Martin Andy Timmons, is one that I’ve used when really trying to get certain clean Gilmour tones, and Muffy solos, as well as able to get country, and other sounds. It’s not been a mainstay on my board, because my recent gigging band just didn’t require it, but it’s one slept on, for either inferior pedals in the same price range, or very expensive ones, like the Origin Effects Cali76 line, which are $150 more, new.
@@CorbCorbin Absolutely, I find the Carl Martin very transparent, it doesn't bring gain on, there's very low unwanted noise indeed! I've used many compressors... Always something "wrong"... This one feels like a super comfortable glove for my clean tones, it's very warm and gives the clean real meat without any inconvenience. It's a super musical piece of gear! For me, the quest might finally be over!... Cheers!!
@@ahsamv1992 It made me think of Dreams, but I haven’t listened to Allman Bros. in awhile. I listened a lot when I was younger, and I was actually more influenced by Betts, and his solos, with and after Duane, than Duane’s slide playing. I like the slide, but just never felt it was my strength. I developed a faux slide sound, using a volume pedal, or the volume knob, but Dickey is one of my main influences, and I think he’s underrated as a slide player. His soloing just has a style, that I can do with or without slide, unless he’s playing Duane parts, like the early days, after Duane’s death.
Cool backing track. I noticed as the name of the scale changes, the fingering shown on the guitar diagram does not changes. Same thing on some similar tracks.
I think this might the best blues backing track I've ever have played with. Thank you.
I’m glad you think so!

Haven't heard the original in ages. Nice job!
what is the name of the original
What’s the song? It’s on the tip of my brain, but I just can’t think of it.

Kozmic blues by Janis Joplin
@@amadoralvarez2004 and that being a ripoff of House Of The Rising Sun (which you can hear clearly on this track during the verse)

It depends if I have the scale switched on or not.
