I'm glad to see your tests! At first when you showed the iPhone 15 side by side in your vlogging, I liked the color from the iPhone more. But this is because I don't like the standard picture profile from the GH7 at all. On my old GH5 the standard picture profile was my favourite and it's completely different. On the GH7 I like to create my own Lut's for V-Log and burn it into the camera directly, so I have the bests colors for me. The 2. Thing I don't like to use auto ISO on the GH7 because it tends to overexpose the image for my taste. I've found when you underexpose the image on the GH7 it gives you a much more cinematic look. 3. I don't like to use any standard picture profile on the GH7 because it does over sharp the image to much in camera making it look more digital. That is less noticeable when you shoot in V-Log. The image is still sharp but more organic in v-log. :) Thank you for your work!
Thank you for watching the test. I felt the same way you felt when shooting standard. The quality seems to improve if you lower the saturation and contrast in the standard settings. I also like shooting with v-log, but as a beginner, I experimented with completely basic settings. I liked the Panasonic's colors better, but I didn't know the iPhone would be this good. As you mentioned, the background seemed to be overexposed. I've never used GH5, but I've heard a lot that it's good except for AF.
