We opened a 2023-24 Panini Donruss Optic Basketball Hobby Box First Off The Line (FOTL) that we purchased direct from Panini during a Dutch auction. The boxes sold out around $625. There are 4 cards per pack, 20 packs per box, and 12 boxes per case.
You should expect 1 Autograph, 20 Inserts or Parallels, 1 FOTL exclusive Purple Stars /17 or /3 auto!

I think you are spot on. Fanatics really puts more effort into their sets. And we will get the best autos possible. That is, unless Panini starts exclusively signing top prospects like Topps has done to them

I just opened mine and it was a pretty dusty box. I hit a Keyonte George on card auto, but just the base. My color was terrible

Also, ordered a box of 2019 optic football back in the day. The guy sent me four, so I sent 3 back and got some good karma with a great break and store credit

That Keyontae auto /10 is brutal...G league, mid 20's rookie w/ heart problems. Guys not going to get any playing time in the NBA unless half the roster gets injured. Just like most Panini products, ceiling is high on these, but floor is just silly low.
Yea obviously not the player we hoped for.. but that's the problem with the industry right now, half the best players are signing exclusively with topps. And you are right about the floor...! It's way too low when you are paying several hundred dollars a box. Thanks for watching!
@@BrokeBoxBreakers panini really needed to up the floor with the lack of the top rookie autos. They simply failed to do so. Prices on everything hobby are simply not justifiable unless the person is a hardcore gambler.
Yea we have had way more fun lately ripping retail blasters and Megas. Only problem is the quality control isn't great. But the return is definitely better ripping retail at scale

Could be worse imagine living here in Australia and ripping wax for 1.5X your US dollar, could argue wage relative, but we all get used to our own base dollar from a young age.
