"Hayal Ufkunda Uçan Binbir Renkler" (Flying in the horizon of imagination are thousand and one colors) is a Turkish classical music piece composed by Neveser Kökdeş in the Rast makam (mode) and Semai usul (rhythm). It was first performed in 1935 and has been covered by many Turkish singers over the years. The song's lyrics describe a dreamlike world of colorful scenery and love. The melody is known for its intricate and emotional nuances, making it a favorite among Turkish music enthusiasts.
Neveser Kökdeş was a female Turkish composer born in 1902 in Drama, Greece. She was born into a musical family, and all of her brothers could play the piano. After primary school, Kökdeş went to the Lycée Notre Dame de Sion Istanbul and learned to play the piano. She composed a variety of genres, including Turkish music, tango, rumba, vals, swing, marches, lullabies, and folk songs, most of which she wrote the lyrics for herself. She passed away on July 7, 1962, in Istanbul.

Ne kadar naif bir şarkı. Rahmetli bestekarın ''Kuş olup uçsam ''adlı şarkısını da dinleyin. Sevgiliye olan hasretini (eşi askerde ve ölüyor savaşta) çok güzel ifade etmiyor mu. Günümüzün parçaları gibi bilgisayarda yapılmamış bu şarkılar, hissederek yapılmış hepsi birer duygu abidesi.
