Tips: To light up the base you can snatch lamps from the train to put on walls and furniture or use the handheld lamps right click feature to place super bright lighting, All box's and cement bag walls are paintable as well as rugs to get a variety of different textures, You can place a poster on the end of a shelf and then place ANOTHER shelf off of the poster to create intricate upper floors, There is a build limit for bridges but i dont believe there is one for shelves so using the largest shelves available can let you create some pretty intricate rooms, A few landing pads at the bottom of the elevator shaft can save you some heartache and broken legs, And my final tip! Light up the downstairs, Would fit the vibe youre going for and make it less spooky
@ Aw snap, I know that feeling.😩 Heck yuhh! This is my first time seeing a base in that part of the Furniture Store. Yours is very cleanly laid out, which I vibe with~ 😎
@@forestfranklin74 The zombies do not spawn if you don’t hit the buttons. I went through the sequence once, and started building with zombies active. After the portal world does a reset they shouldn’t spawn unless you do the buttons again. Unless you have a jetpack the only way to get up and down is doing the buttons.
@@AMLSALMON you can use rope plants to climb up too. just need to place them on a bridge protruding out from the edge at top. i think grav cube + alien jump pad might be feasible too but haven't tried it.
This is a solo playthrough, about 90 hours in.

Awesome base setup, thanks for showing it! 😁
Well considering the person I *was* playing with gave up on me and never got to see it, i’m glad you like it.

I try my best to make it feel like home, that is, home in a world overrun by the undead. Nothing can beat rain and thunder.
@@AMLSALMON True that! Very relaxing~ ✨🤌✨
thought about living here, doesn't it get laggy with the zombie spawns?

Youre modded the game to make big stacks?
Modded? No, it's an option in sandbox settings.
