I own Mule Pro DX, and have hearly 500 hours on it. I love it, best bit of kit I have bought for my farm. I added a winch and full underbody bash plate and a brush bar that bolts onto the front bumper bar. I put some heavy duty Kolpin grips and I carry a shovel and crowbar all the time, which is handy as it doesnt take up space in the cargo bed. The ride quality is fantastic. I am on steep country in a high rainfall sub tropical environment in Australia and I really appreciate the wider wheel base and relatively low centre of gravity. I dont know if it is still the case but when I bought mine (nearly 3 years ago) you could get it with a Yanmar diesel engine or with a chinese petrol engine, not a kawasaki engine, and there was no difference in price! The low end torque is great, I can snig big strainer posts up steep hills, no problem and I load it up with a 400 litre spray rig and it handles the heavy load with ease. This is a work machine and I highly recommend it. If I am being super critical the diesel engine is a bit noisy. I did see somewhere you can get a noise blanket for the engine but I am used to it now so it doesnt bother me. I used to use a quad bike on the place and the Mule takes things to a whole new level in terms of what you can get done. I have to say I don't show mine a lots of love and it is a tough machine, every machine is breakable but you are going to have to really try hard if you want to break the Kawasaki Mule.

Another excellent video! It's good and interesting to see a review of a work-oriented UTV being actually used for work. Well done!

It's actually better that Kawasaki left the foot area open, that way you can buy your own storage compartment configured the way you want it and custom put in a storage rather than a pre fabbed storage unit.

Kawasaki, a Japanese brand with the Chinese Chery 800 cc engine. My ride, not a Kawasaki, has the 1100cc version of that same engine. John Deere uses the 800 cc engine in their 825i. Quite a few lesser known brands of UTVs use that Chinese engine. Apparently, it's a very dependable engine.

Generally tires up to 26 inches tall go on 12 inch rims which are not very expensive. 27 inch and up are commonly used on 14 inch rims which are more expensive and give you less sidewall. I've run into a few odd ball 27 inchers at the shop on 12 inch rims but usually not. With 200 tires in stock and repairs on about 600 machines per year, I get a chance to see almost everything. Big fan of the late model Mules at a decent price point.

You keep referencing a front locking differential when you select the locker button. There is no front locking differential. You are locking the rear differential with that button.

Nice video, thank you. Who makes the 3 cylinder engine? Are these the same as the MX; Taiwanese Kymko made machines?

You mentioned that it was free wheeling. It does have engine braking. Are you saying that the engine braking doesn't work well? Are you in low or high?
