Bullrush cob + water = weak heal pots---head for the nearest river area, and farm the bullrush's growing there, add water and you should have near 100 weak heal pots which will last a long while. As for day 3 and jewelry(your timeline, not mine : ) see Amrine and questing. Now, granted I was sporting several pieces with luck on them, but I found four or so Amrine runs will net a very nice blue ring for sure(17str + slashing bonus). Plus Amrine yields an amazing tank sword with 2 aggro gaining perks to it for solid tank aggro. Your dps can be as bad as they want and won't be able to rip aggro from a tank if you get it early and run Amrine expo's.
Stay hyped, but not anxious. All those videos about "avoid these mistakes!" "get rich ASAP!" "fastest way to level!" is just so obnoxious and takes away the exploring and learning and focusing on min-maxing. Don't forget to enjoy the game!
So I tried my hand at bag crafting in the open beta. I made I think 7 of the 2nd tier bags and sold them for 5000 each. They all sold within the hour of posting them, regardless of perks. Early game bags will make you insane gold. Every blue I found with a gem slot I was selling for at least 500 each, and pretty much all of them sold. And cut Carnelian Gems got me 1000 gold each even at the lowest rank.
So, hate to break it to you -- but that's inflated prices. For sure every item you listed will be good money makers, but people did not value money almost at all during Beta. When the money is getting deleted anyway, why try to save it? If they can sell even at half those values that's still really good though.
I think the market will have a type of reverse value chain particularly for crafted goods, during O/CBT I sold raw iron ore, you'd usually never see it go below 1g because people buy so much of it to either do a town board crafting quest or something. Iron ore also seems to go for more than green wood or rawhide probably because of the relative scarcity and you have to run further out of town to do a mining route. I'm pretty sure it will be one of the biggest money makers for a long time since so much iron ore is used in town board as well levelling up craft skills. Day 1 selling rivercress worked pretty good though I didn't go out of my way to really get too much but of the like 20 spare rivercresses stems I farmed and put on market for 30g a piece they all sold because people would prefer to just buy from the store than work out where it is and level their harvesting up to be able to get it. Cut gemstones also seem to go for pretty high even flawed ones got bought out for 100g sometimes, also has the benefit of passively levelling your stonecraft.
n1 video dude, as always however, I think you overestimate how fast the "average" player (and that's where the majority of the gold comes from) progresses only the most dedicated 10-20% of the playerbase will be lvl40+ by day3, most casuals will be arround 20 and you will still be able to make a fortune on good bags / crafting tools anyway, lets see - maybe I am wrong :)
Especially as it releases on a tuesday and I refuse to book the weds-fri off so I took the week after off instead. I'd have taken the full week off before but sat watching the clock waiting for release
I will be starting day 3 tomorrow and I have played for a total of 25 hours so far in the last 48 hours and I am still only level 18. But I did not do anymore main quests once I picked my faction as I wanted to do the faction quests to get all the faction gear first and try to get all my crafting levels up. So far say my mining as I have been working on that the most is still only level 68 and I've been going at it like crazy with mining, mainly mining now huge golden ores and just any other lower ores I find.
What is your market plan for the launch of the game? I am interested to hear anything you think will sell while players are leveling up! Update - Small edit error at the end will try and fix soon but the missing word was perks lol Apologies for that!
Considering making a bunch of ammo. I heard petal caps sell for a lot due to a requirement for the story in everfall. Not sure how long I should put them on the market for. I want to rush making bags, but haven't been able to quickly make them in either beta. So I probably will be late to the party there. Also, due to gems being hard to find, I 've been considering fishing to get those treasure chests that contain 2-5 gems. But that is slow and everytime I fish I feel like I'm wasting time slowly leveling fishing. This is my first MMO and there's so many things I'm undecided on. Its exciting and frustrating at the same time!
Hey brother, enjoying the content. I want to give some constructive criticism: Try to work on that crutch phrase "things of that nature." There is nothing wrong with pauses in your dialogue. You don't have to fill empty space with what public speakers would call crutch words and phrases. Keep up the good videos.
The one thing that will gate how fast we can start crafting and selling the higher tier items is the crafting bench levels - takes a while to get them upgraded, so doubt we'll see tier 4 stations in the first few days (at least definitely not all of them). Crafting those starmetal tools will likely take a bit longer.
@@davidspecht6328 if I were you i'd give dark souls 3 a try, it's much harder and the combat is a bit more complicated than NW's but it's still a really fun game to try in the meantime, makes other games feel easy in comparison :)
I always have mixed feelings about videos like this. 1) Appreciation. I appreciate that you share all this info so that everyone under the top1% can get stuff done the first few days. 2) Disappointment. Now there are more people equipped to do better on the first few days instead of more 'customers'. In the end, at least y'all aren't on the german server and there are always some small things left out. I'd recommend watching all of these videos you can find as other content creators will cover things that aren't covered in this video.
On open beta i started like 14hours late and still made 3k on bullets on the first day, there were selling for 1.9$ in monarch buff, some towns were already down to 1$ xD by day 2 they were still around 1.2$ which is still insane for the amount of effort to make them
Bigger question is: "should you go after money at the very beginning?" Is money that crucial at the starting levels? Isn't it better to just aim to get to level 60, making every effort for money much more effective then?
Great question actually! I think if you are planning to take a territory YES if you plan to buy a house for fast travel YES if not then your probably ok not focusing on money but you may miss out on easy gold early that you wish you would have later on!
It depends on your own goals in the game. My focus is on crafting and making money. Levels will happen as I play. Others' focus will be on levelling fast...to each their own.
@@Sethphir Can you expand on the house buying part? Are you saying it's best to purchase a home in a territory you're not maining in, so you can travel to it easier?
"Sell things people need" - Sethphir. That's why I come to RUclips, the really deep thinkers. JUST KIDDING!!! You can either get busy crafting or get busy leveling, personally I am gonna lean on the gathering/crafting until I see or need a reason to PVE level. I have not found any videos of someone leveling purely from gathering/crafting.. I am curious.
if you find a good spot to get plenty of saltpeter can spam through your engineering making iron/steel bullets, open beta made around 16k from selling ammo alone and that was running it at rock bottom prices, woulda been more around 50-60k mark if had been selling at the current market value
Not actually true... there are some forts where you can easily farm the runes of holding, even the high tiers one. And don't forget that ppl have 3 bag slots, so it'll sell for a long time.
@@vileytadei Well we are talking about day 1 and day two here ^^ Noone farming those "high level Forts" on day 1 or 2 as those who are level rushing do so for territory wars aka Town holding. Even if some dudes would "farm" them on maybe day two ... I guess there is a personal need for at least 10 runes (3 for bags) and at least 7+ for house chests.
@@Sethphir Well those things sold in a closed and open beta were accounts got wiped so people were a little bit more free with their money spending and maybe with their faction tokens. You just cant farm everything as a crafter at the same time. If you dont have a company supporting you that is. And if you have a company then the bags are for members and or maybe making money for town grab but as you said there is no money in the system on day 1 so many companies will group up and rush quests to make 100k asap.
@@Sethphir only cos in your last video you mentioned needing to try something new so soon as I clicked this vid I was thinking, wonder if he made a new intro... and you did! Thanks for all these vids! very informative!
Great vid Seth! So you're planning on running a luck set and constantly switch between top gearscore and luck for chests? Or just going to keep on upgrading your luck set to get it to the highest gearscore possible? (And just have one set)
@@Sethphir hahaha awesome! Got me thinking about doing that after the other video where you talked about water mark and luck sets.. hope we get our reward for the effort!!
I must be doing something wrong in my head if endgame is going to be after day 3? Is it really possible and probable for the normal person to get to endgame in 3 days?
If you rush every single thing, get super lucky and dont sleep for 3 nights - maybe :D but this sentence alone made me realize - screw all these tips and guides, I don't want to get to the endgame in a week, I'll just play with friends and enjoy the game
I think maybe some people that were buying 500-700 gold items for blues/greens were thinking "well this is a reset, so I don't need to horde money I won't have when it launches" I'm curious if we'll be able to sell for that amount on launch.
I was thinking the same thing. On open beta, I sold and bought stuff for crazy prices just because I knew I didn't need the gold for the long haul or crafting etc.
I love your videos.. I was just wondering.. isnt this for people who gonna play it hard? like 8-16h per day ? or even push through 30+ hours after launch? I cant imagine with like 2-5hours per day to get that far in the game on day 3
So I feel people over estimate how fast people will be leveling due to how many EXP exploits there were in the Closed Beta. I would say lv40+ is more accurate on Day 4. But, there will be some people who'll not even sleep on release and play 24hrs+ straight. I mean I know someone who quit their job and sold their car so they have a years worth of rent just to dedicate their full time to this game. There will be hardcore players... but those people are less likely to buy those type of items anyway -- they spend enough time to craft it themselves. Idk why Sethphir mentioned Starmetal Tools, it's actually impossible to refine the materials needed to make it without Tier 4 Stations. By my math it'd be IMPOSSIBLE (each Settlement upgrade = has a 1day+ CD) to get it any earlier than Day 3. To be able to get it to Day 3 requires 3 Companies rushing it, each having to push a specific T4 station (Forge, Woodworker, Smelter, Leatherworker*). You can skip the Leatherworker if you use PvP Zones + alligator skin. But basically it's a 300k+ investment and requires hundreds of people split in 3 Companies to start pumping out Starmetal Tools on Day 3. Realistically they'll appear when start becoming T4. That could be over a week unless specifically rushed.
in the beta i felt nice and puting all the drop on the ah extra cheap so peapol can test it out and stil made a good 6k frome the ah with out trieing it was fun, and the bill was less sintce it was our city! go Aethernum Eternal
Tools, even if they are iron, will sell if you have the Azoth Extraction Perk on them. The 3-day beta, I had all my tools with the Azoth Extraction perk and was at the upper limit of my Azoth (1,000). I would rather have iron tools with this perk than the higher level tools, without it. :)
4:04 Azoth not found :'D Fits perfectly. Also, i laughed way to much about this, because i absolutely felt the same after discovering, that i nearly reached the limit of it. But to be fair, in the OB you literally had time running away from you, so it was kinda understandable to use it like this, i think.^^
Great content, as usual! Thanks :) Quick? If I join an RP focused server at launch, do you think the early game economics will be different? Like instead of rushing tools (Steel through Star Metal) & jewelry like maybe furnishings, clothing, or wood, etc would be more valuable? I haven't played on an RP server in the previous games; so , I didn't know if the players would value different items early on or if it would be pretty much the same as a more mixed or PvP focused server?
Speaking as a veteran of the FFXIV markets with 160,000,000 gil (the in-game currency there), RPers LOVE things like transmog/glamour sets of armor (if this game has a tool for letting people overwrite the look of their gear, or adds one later) and furniture - !!!HOWEVER!!! - this is usually only once they've reached maximum level, and oftentimes they'll put their money towards progressive gear/raid food/potions/actual content BEFORE they start filling their homes with furniture and the like. Roleplaying is generally an "end game" game, as players usually hit max level before they start roleplay in most of the games I've played previously. Therefore, early days 1 & 2 will be the same. His Day 3 is when a lot of the crazy nutjob players will hit max, and others will join them over time. If I had to make a guess, I'm shooting in the dark, but I'd say end of week 1 or week 2 is when we'll see the furniture market really start to see value as more players start to hit max.
Yeah, I've been researching for weeks compiling and organizing any useful information. Found a few issues with your video (mainly not recognizing Settlement stations have a 1day+ CD for being built), but overall fairly useful. You left out quite a few really good gold making methods and kind of rushed your order (skipped a lot timing wise) because you presented more as an individual way to make money as opposed to being in a Company making money. However, can't wait for Launch. I've always made 10k+ the first day without trying... lets see what I get with weeks of planning and really trying.
I would be super interested to see what everyone makes on the first day actually! I think there will be a lot of good ideas out there and tons of ways to make money for sure!
I know you did a video on the Trading Post, but I still can't figure out on my "closed and expired" orders what was 'closed' and what was 'expired'. How can I tell what has sold? What am I missing?
It's because the majority of people are at windward. I have found stuff sells very well at first light because the population there is so small there is very little choices as not many people put items in auction there so when people start there like I did they tend to purchase more and for a much higher price.
They're not precious. It's 50 Azoth for the small one. Azoth is incredibly easy to farm once you can do Corruption and get perks on your tools/bags/gear. People paying 1k early game for Azoth are either ignorant of its value or didn't value money in the Beta. The main quests give you a ton to start off with and once you set up your Azoth farming method it's really not that much work. Not factoring in that Corruption needs to be cleared daily... Azoth shouldn't be an issue besides time. So with how long it takes to farm 50 Azoth vs 1k gold -- way overpriced. I mean... a single fast travel can be say 150 Azoth. So you're saying like 3k to go from Everfall to First Light? Yeah right. I think they'll settle down to a per gold price per Azoth eventually. Like 1-5 gold per Azoth, probably increasing in late game because money will be more readily available.
Won't be putting out starmetal stuff until someone builds the crafting bench for it in their town right? Or is there a t4(?) bench by default somewhere?
A lot of this crafting depends on the previous station upgrades. Jewelry T4 ~lvl 40-45 takes outfitting station tier 4, and that is unlikely to be there. Sure, Steel tools and T3 bags can be crafted in Great Cleave. Day 1 the highest demand good probably gonna be rivercress, even though it is easy to get. People still pay about 300g for one just to continue their speedrun. Sure, we can't compare Open/Closed Beta with the release, but even if it is just 150g, it's still a lot of money
Ohh you might be surprised how try hard some of these server can be haha! Gold will be precious for sure! Rivercress and petalcap is a nice hustle too!
At day 3 the majority of ppl will be around 20-25. Tha majority cant play 12hours+ per day, also the majority will not speedrun lvls. People will stuck at quests because of the amount of players around etc. I still remember ppl refusing to party at the Henry Quest, standing there for hours just complaining. You think this will change on release? And dont forget, a huge amount of ppl that will be there on release, didnt play any betas. Yes there will be ppl close to 60, or even 40+ but they will be the vast minority.
Yea I think thats fair to say, just slow the timeline down by a few days or a week for sure then. The aim is to help people get an idea of what the tryhards will be doing so they dont get ripped off and can catch up to the 1% :)
tbh the logic at 3:12 expecially with me works horribly as i usually dont want to buy anything while leveling... which has always made my trader escapades kinda bad.
so is this game only going to last a week because people are talking in days now? min maxers suck the fun out of the game and being able to min max shit before the game even comes out ruined gaming entirely. classic wow back in the day was so big because of the sense of wonder, and sweating to play a game perfectly was something to look up to, rather than what it has become: a standard.
I don't understand... how are you crafting Star Metal Tools on Day 2? It requires 100 mining, 100 engineering, 100 smelting, 100 woodworking, and 100* leatherworking (can actually use Alligator skin instead and even though T3 works same as the T4 basic leather). That's easily believable, multiple people can contribute in the making of a single item. One person for each ingredient and someone with 100 engineering. The problem is it requires T4 materials and that means you'll need T4 stations. The minimum upgrade time is 1 day to start off. It's impossible to get Starmetal Tools Day 2, people won't even be 40+ till Day 3 - 4. The earliest you could craft Starmetal Tools is Day 3 and that's only if three different Companies work together. One company would have to do T3/T4 Forge another T3/T4 Smelter and another T3/T4 Woodworker. Can technically use the T3 stations in PvP Zone for Scaly Hide and skip T4 mat. Starmetal Tools are more of a Day 4-5 item imo. But it really depends on how people upgrade their Hamlets from the start. Regardless though you could hoard materials to release it all at once soon as it is able to be made.
Yeah its just the try hards on the high pop servers haha they will have that in 49hours for sure! But just slow that pace down a bit for the rest of the people and low pop servers and it will still hold true just probably a few days later!
@@Sethphir Well, definitely longer than that. You'd have to make 300,600 gold in under one hour to have Starmetal Tools in 49hrs. More likely even the try hards won't have it before Day 4. I mean, you're sacrificing a lot of money makers to directly jump to Starmetal tools. Not even sure it would be worth it, after all most people will be spending their money towards taking Cities. It's going to take a while for there to even be a lot of spare gold on the server. Big ticket items will have a limited market anyway.
everything in this video is correct except for the timespans imo. honestly people wont be level 40 day 3, during beta people were around lvl 25 in day 3, and keep in mind xp got nerfed by 20%. starmetal wont be a thing on day 2 lol
So pretty much 200 people can give 1 person 500 gold each and the person can buy a territory? 200 ppl to complete the complete faction quest. Then if you were greedy. Could have people delete character and redo same process so within less than 2 hours if multiple big groups do this will have all territories bought. Seems pretty silly to me
Yes you could do that for sure but I think there are better ways to make gold in the end game and honestly just playing the game after that first 500g will get you more gold than rerolling I think!
No - Early Gold only really comes from quests in any quantity.. There is also gold in some chests and Mob drops.. Elite Area Farming will be a source for Gold. - These are like open Dungeons full of Elite mobs and recommended with a party to tackle - but if you are careful and maybe tag along with others (even if not in the party) you could get some kills in and of course loot all the chests along the way. Gold in Fishing / Treasure Chests that you fish up will have raw gold in small amounts (they nerfed it a bit in Open Beta)
Starmetal tools day 2? You do realise it takes a day to upgrade a single station by just one tier, and you need to upgrade outfitting and smelting just for steel. Even if companies got 100k gold and bought a territory within an hour of release that aint happening. Bags werent worth it in OB, they were priced at 1.1k in windsward on my server and did not even sell. Even if they sold, thats only like 400g profit which is awful witht he amount of time it takes to farm the reputation for the rune. Will see how different it is on release when more people are playing seriously.
It takes 24 hours to upgrade yes most major guilds will work together to align upgrades. So in 49 hours you will probably have both tier 4 workshop and tier 4 smelter unless you are on a low population server then you will extend that time by X. I know some people that sold tons of bags so again this all may depend on server!
No way most people will be lvl40 at day 3. Considering day 3+ as the end game is insane. The release is on a tuesday, you can expect most of that "day 2 and day 3" urge for items by Friday and the weekend. People still have lives and they work every day.
I doubt you will be able to get starmetal ingots or starmetal tools on day 2 simply because of the fact that you need a higher tier forge and smelting station to make the starmetal ingots and the starmetal tools.. higher tier stations than are likely to be available that early in the game. Maybe by day 4-5 possibly depending on how fast zones get claimed and settlements get upgraded. During open beta, on my server at least, we still had NO smelting stations or forges that were capable of crafting startmetal by the end of open beta.
@@OklahomaFishingTime2310 just to be clear, by day 2 of the open beta I was mining starmetal ore, there just wasn't a way to refine it into ingots or use it in any recipe. Same goes for thins like Wyrdwood, I had chopped some, but just had no way of using it even by the end of the open beta period.
@@Sethphir yeah 😁 I will just multiply all the days you mentioned on two or three, depended on the progress level and complexity and will get an idea of everything 😁
I've just finished the second day and so far on my server nobody has taken winsward yet so we cannot upgrade our smelters ect so cannot even craft higher level stuff which is a shame. I am finding axes ans heavy armour is selling quite well and also Iron. But other than that barley nothing will sell and anything you craft yourself sadly is binds on pick up so you cannot sell it in auction and only salvage them :(. It would be good if they had like a shop vendor who just paid you a set amount for things so you could sell all the crap to them and then just the good stuff at auction. As it seems such a shame to dump so much and your storage fills up so fast too. No bags available yet either to upgrade for more space.
Amazing video covering a lot, the only thing that worries me is how fast the beginning of the game will be, aka getting to 60. I worry the current content of the game has a lifespan of about 2 months for most people. Any thoughts?
absolutely 0 chance there are going to be crafting stations on most servers past tier 3 on day two. Maybe on the ultra sweat servers but 99 percent of servers will not have many territories captured until second day
Auctions houses are spread out between every town? As in, if someone is selling in X town then I can’t buy it in Y town? If so, ESO does that with guild traders and it’s such a garbage system. MMO developers should just stick to universal market boards.
hmm I think it works well in new world because travel is a limiter, there are no mounts etc so you either pay azoth or take the long track and walk it lol
@@Sethphir Well, I do like that you can at least see that an item is selling elsewhere from the auction house menu so that's helpful. In that case, it might not be too bad. The problem with ESO is that you can't see an item is selling elsewhere unless you're using a 3rd party addon or something.
Within 6 hours I was level 21 and got my servers first steel tools with good perks! Not even abusing the deathwrap to be a as good as posible at launch! Within my first 14 hours I got almost 30k gold lol :P
I totaly don’t believe you... Why ppl would spend money (when they will be low either) for something they can easily craft by their own... Another clickbait video. Maybe i ´m wrong, will see
I want to understand making gold while chilling and leveling slowly not rushing end game day 1. Should have put that in your title if your entire advice is about day 1/2.
I think you are greatly overestimating the level capabilities of the average player. One can easily stretch out your list across the first two weeks and it will still work.
I would say his entire video is very rushed time wise. You can't even do Starmetal Tools w/o a Tier 4 Forge and to get the mats need 2-3 more T4 Stations (there's a trick to skip T4 leather). It's IMPOSSIBLE until Day 3 and to get it done on Day 3 requires a minimum of 300,600 gold and 3 Companies working together each with a City and each only upgraded one specific station to Tier 4 first. Starmetal Tools will take over a week unless specifically rushed. If aimed for it's more likely Day 4-5. Like bags... requires Faction points for the Rune. Also need a quest that doesn't open up till lv24 for the next tier Rune. It's missing a lot of other potential money makers and rushes bigger items, but I'm okay with that. Hopefully my Company can keep a few secret money makers until after Launch.
@@primal9238 Yeah, in fact the only city in my Open Beta server where it was possible to craft steel tools was Everfall on Saturday. The others did not even upgrade the engineering station in time. In fact Monarch Bluff only got claimed late Sunday as last of the four starting zones. Like Sethphir replied it will also depend a lot on your individual server. If it has highly organized Streamer guilds in it, then you will probably see faster development.

Dyes. Your video assumes there’s just a bunch of “get to 60 fast” folks. The majority of others will level slowly and want to look doing it.
Hey brother, enjoying the content. I want to give some constructive criticism: Try to work on that crutch phrase "things of that nature." There is nothing wrong with pauses in your dialogue. You don't have to fill empty space with what public speakers would call crutch words and phrases. Keep up the good videos.
Will take note ty! Always looking to improve!
The one thing that will gate how fast we can start crafting and selling the higher tier items is the crafting bench levels - takes a while to get them upgraded, so doubt we'll see tier 4 stations in the first few days (at least definitely not all of them). Crafting those starmetal tools will likely take a bit longer.
each server will have its pace for sure! I think on high population servers it will be ready in 49hours!
Which is why every crafter will flock to the first town that has T3/T4 stations to craft there.
There we go channel is booming
these next 10 days cant go fast enough lol im looking forward to farming and crafting want to see how much i can make day 1
Omg, i literally have nothing to do till release, no other game is enjoyable to me anymore.

Changing the intro slightly every new video and then saying that you changed it up a little would be quite funny imo
Great vids btw!
like a 1 letter diference lol that might be pretty troll and Ty!
Ya thats my aim to help everyone catch up to the 1% :) Tons of great content out there for sure!
Its great to see his channel growing 💗 congratulations 😺
Good tips! Thanks for this
Anytime Chance! Glad it was helpful!
Third video today, you're on a roll :)
Haha Gotta work hard lots of good stuff to share before launch :)
On open beta i started like 14hours late and still made 3k on bullets on the first day, there were selling for 1.9$ in monarch buff, some towns were already down to 1$ xD by day 2 they were still around 1.2$ which is still insane for the amount of effort to make them
Ooo Bullets is a good hustle for sure Nice one Revlimit!
@@Sethphir + its making money while leveling to craft steel tools ;)
keep the grind going
I am on it Tactile!
Bigger question is: "should you go after money at the very beginning?"
Is money that crucial at the starting levels? Isn't it better to just aim to get to level 60, making every effort for money much more effective then?
Great question actually! I think if you are planning to take a territory YES if you plan to buy a house for fast travel YES if not then your probably ok not focusing on money but you may miss out on easy gold early that you wish you would have later on!
@@Sethphir Thanks for the answer. I only played the open beta and I'm still trying to figure out what is the "meta".
Good job! Keep up the good work! Awesome game!
I am curious.
lol yea I think it is quite possible to level off crafting and the town board to be honest! You can do it for sure!
AMMO gonna be a big money maker
True tho
if you find a good spot to get plenty of saltpeter can spam through your engineering making iron/steel bullets, open beta made around 16k from selling ammo alone and that was running it at rock bottom prices, woulda been more around 50-60k mark if had been selling at the current market value
Bags will only "sell" early as a "crafting service fee" item as minor runes of holding will be VERY scarce for the crafter.
Not actually true... there are some forts where you can easily farm the runes of holding, even the high tiers one. And don't forget that ppl have 3 bag slots, so it'll sell for a long time.
Hmm those faction points could be a choke point but Idk I see many people buy bags lol
@@kwichzwellbreck3567 in beta there were money dupes too, so money was literally free for some groups.

lol always fun to try out new things :)
(And just have one set)
ya getting that fast swap apm baby haha! Maybe just leave it on for dungeons though!
I think maybe some people that were buying 500-700 gold items for blues/greens were thinking "well this is a reset, so I don't need to horde money I won't have when it launches"
I'm curious if we'll be able to sell for that amount on launch.
you might be surprised some people are just like hey I got the gold why not lol but ya you are probably right that will scale down a little bit
I was thinking the same thing. On open beta, I sold and bought stuff for crazy prices just because I knew I didn't need the gold for the long haul or crafting etc.
Careful if you power level crafting in a skill that isnt super popular because youll quickly get capped by the available crafting station level
Yes thats true those stations should come online night 2 / day 3 mostly
I love your videos.. I was just wondering.. isnt this for people who gonna play it hard? like 8-16h per day ? or even push through 30+ hours after launch?
I cant imagine with like 2-5hours per day to get that far in the game on day 3
Yeah you can just add a day or two for low pop server!
Exactly. Working 9 to 5 doesn't allow someone to have this pacing.
@@NefosG exactly what I was thinking while watching, I’m gonna go pretty hard on the tool crafting / selling first day though.
@Tico B Ya think tools are gonna be a hot sell? I'm gonna be in some SA server, so I won't compete with you. 😉
Money! Money! Money! (Mr. Crabs Voice)
Lol i can hear it in my head now

6k gold is quite nice haha! LETS GO AE
Quality intro! xD
Haha ty ty trying some things out!
Was the only one selling Steel tool green and did good money
Very nice you can make a nice chunk of gold for sure like this!
2:21 do you get 570 for choosing a faction or till then with all the quests?
4:04 Azoth not found :'D
Fits perfectly.
Also, i laughed way to much about this, because i absolutely felt the same after discovering, that i nearly reached the limit of it.
But to be fair, in the OB you literally had time running away from you, so it was kinda understandable to use it like this, i think.^^
haha great find zoro! yeah it will be more lax during launch for sure!
Are those items good only at the first 3 days or will they still be making good money even if I’m late to the party?
@@Newsandjy Thanks so much! I really appreciate your insights :) I'll add that in to my crafting plans! Cheers!
Some fast tips he might have missed?
I would be super interested to see what everyone makes on the first day actually! I think there will be a lot of good ideas out there and tons of ways to make money for sure!
Good News !! No cashshop, instead Amazon is going to trade in game currency for delivering packages!! Jobs for gamers!
LOL that would be interesting for sure
I know you did a video on the Trading Post, but I still can't figure out on my "closed and expired" orders what was 'closed' and what was 'expired'. How can I tell what has sold? What am I missing?
When windsward is selling arrows for $0.10 a piece, meanwhile I sold 2k arrows at monarchs for $1.80 a piece
It's because the majority of people are at windward. I have found stuff sells very well at first light because the population there is so small there is very little choices as not many people put items in auction there so when people start there like I did they tend to purchase more and for a much higher price.
If you get that bottled Azoth those sell crazy good I remember selling 5 of them 1k each and they went within 10 mins was like damn okay
Ooo those are SUPER Precious though DONT SELL! keep for end game!
@@Sethphir Can you elaborate? Only played OB so didn't get to end game, not sure what's worth keeping/using.
It can be upgraded once a faction holds the town for so long I beleive
Rivercrests and pedalcaps are gonna make some money. So will silver bars. Need all three for main quest.
So I would be the guy, who sells the fishing Filets and the fishoil xD I love fishing
You are going to be a rich man lol
I wonder how the longevity of this game will be if people will be endgame by day 3 as you say
well thats just lvl 60 the end game begins and its crazyyyy long lol getting bis items will be a big task!
@@Sethphir ah that makes more sense. I was unable to play the beta so it’s good that I’m getting some clarification!

Its just set prices!
They are not auctions, probably just a carry over from other mmo's in his phrasing.

hmm ya we will have to see how it goes :)
What price you can take for the server first steel tools? :)
so is this game only going to last a week because people are talking in days now? min maxers suck the fun out of the game and being able to min max shit before the game even comes out ruined gaming entirely. classic wow back in the day was so big because of the sense of wonder, and sweating to play a game perfectly was something to look up to, rather than what it has become: a standard.
THANK YOU
I dont just wanna be rich, i wanna be Bezos Rich!!
right? lol
Big ticket items will have a limited market anyway.
with bags requiring faction based items, they will be very hard to mass produce...
yeah you may have to run a few missions for sure! Set that price high :)
You can also sell the faction item on the market if you don't want to craft bags, they will be bought
everything in this video is correct except for the timespans imo. honestly people wont be level 40 day 3, during beta people were around lvl 25 in day 3, and keep in mind xp got nerfed by 20%.
starmetal wont be a thing on day 2 lol
Depends on the server, I think high population will have it done in 49 hours. But ya some of the mid/low probably not
@@Sethphir very true
there will be no T4 table or smelter at day 2 for the starmetalthing =)
@@priofear good point didn’t think of that
your videos are great, but can't you increase the video quality?
Yes working on that now :)
So gold only comes from quests? No other options even further into the game?

PLEASE don't use Beta prices as a basis for Release. They are COMPLETELY unrealistic at current gold drop levels.
"How to catch the attention of bezoz"
Amrine was so good in the beta for gold... up until everyone else got there.
Yup its a small window, but its there and you can make out like a bandit!
No way most people will be lvl40 at day 3. Considering day 3+ as the end game is insane. The release is on a tuesday, you can expect most of that "day 2 and day 3" urge for items by Friday and the weekend. People still have lives and they work every day.
you can get to lvl 20 in under 8 hours. I think 40 could be possilbe in 3 days.
You might be surprised!
I was gonna say this. Nobody gonna be using starmetal tools day 2 lol
@@minmaxmedia yeah exactly 💯 ppl will def have the 100 mining for sure

yeah I am just assuming the most tryhard time line to give you an idea, just drag that out by a few days for the average player!
@@Sethphir yeah 😁 I will just multiply all the days you mentioned on two or three, depended on the progress level and complexity and will get an idea of everything 😁
Gold bars not equal to gold coins. They're working on the Fiat system
You don't need to be "one of the first people." It's a marathon, not a sprint.
Steh..im stalking you :)
It is now your mission to take Windward. Be the hero your server needs.
Amazing video covering a lot, the only thing that worries me is how fast the beginning of the game will be, aka getting to 60. I worry the current content of the game has a lifespan of about 2 months for most people. Any thoughts?
Prolly not even 2 month for many

x4 xp interesting! I would love of that was the case haha I hope you are right :)
I see what has not been shown..
Oh ya? What is that?
Kind of hard to get Bezos rich with a 500k gold cap.
absolutely 0 chance there are going to be crafting stations on most servers past tier 3 on day two. Maybe on the ultra sweat servers but 99 percent of servers will not have many territories captured until second day
yeah you can adjust if your server is slower for sure!

0/10 intro, didn't hear my own name even once
Lol Gotta have the witchhunt huh
@@Sethphir it's pretty key to my I MEAN YOUR branding.
I think you are greatly overestimating the level capabilities of the average player. One can easily stretch out your list across the first two weeks and it will still work.
Very true add a few days or week to that list then to suit the server / player!
