The beauty of this song is that the voice he's arguing with can be interpreted as many things: Slim Shady, the devil, his addiction or the rap game. I personally lean towards the rap game, it fits perfectly. Anyway the story telling is incredible

The writting and production of this song is nothing but sheer genius
the beat is supposed to ressembke the noise of a chainsaw turning on, and when it turn on Slim Shady wakes up. Its kinda his thing because he used to appear with a Jason mask and a chainsaw in concerts etc..

Most people, especially your age, don't seem to care to really listen to the song or invest the thought needed to comprehend lyrics on a deeper level. I work with my brother who’s 16 years older than me and most the other guys are about 10-12 years older and sometimes they say these names of older rock n roll guys that I never heard of and they give me the same shit we’re giving this kid lol. When he said that about Paul wall I was like damn that must be how my brother feels when idk a very popular band or whatever
