@@ivands7249 having owned a 2018 accord 1.5 base model with 90,000 miles on it now from literally 0 miles on it, fresh off the line, and rented a 2.0 sport in Hawaii for a week, I can confirm the 1.5 is actually faster. Less weight. Better transmission. Smaller wheels and tires. And if you know how to manually shift the through low, sport and drive as if it were 1,2,3 the car is a flat out missile. I’ve kept up with a 2020 392 challenger and handles like a corvette if not better thanks to my tire choice, plus the 1.5 base model only weighing 3000 pounds with no overweight in the front to cause understeer, the rear being the same so there’s no oversteer and utilizing low, sport and drive in corners and straights. The 10thgen accord is a work of art. And the base model is honestly the best performing but if you want more luxurious features like the bigger display with touchscreen and more opinions like satellite radio, gps and movies, nicer bigger wheels, half leather or full leather seats, better sound system with more speakers, fog lamps, nicer looking exhaust and a little ducktail spoiler, the 1.5 sport and 2.0 sport are for you and there’s also the touring that’s fully loaded with even more features and the hybrid that’s actually got like 30 more horsepower than the 1.5 and gets great mileage even though the 1.5 gets good enough mpg. However you’re going to give up some performance with the sport and touring thanks to all the added weight and crappy transmission. If they had given it the same transmission as the 1.5 it would be better but the 1.5’s trans can’t handle the extra torque horsepower and weight.

if hes running 9+second 1/8th times, he cannot drive if that is even a bone stock SS. I personally know a guy in a 2014 BONE STOCK manual SS that ran a 7.4 @ 91mph 5ish years ago at mooresville dragstrip. This 1.5t. It's running 10+s 1/8th mile times. It barely qualifies as sporty, lol
That guy in the SS had no clue in what he was doing. It's a lot faster than that lol!!!
