I have a gut feeling that Trey Lance will emerge as the best QB from this draft class, and it’s not just because I’m a 49ers fan.

Trey has a chip on his shoulder and he’s very humble and well spoken for a man who’s not even 21 yet and his work ethic is some of the best I’ve ever seen
He has the highest ceiling, but also the lowest floor out of the top 5 QBs
Well he very well could be the best as he's a big guy can scramble has a cannon of an arm doesn't turn the ball over often and has a great mentality plus with the scheme around him he could a be a mahomes type of player but personally I see him as a josh Allen type which will be amazing for us
This has the potential to be one of the 49ers greatest drafted classes. I'm very happy they finally addressed the OLine which needed to be for a few seasons now

Didn't realize Banks and Mcglincey were teammates! Hope Banks can win that RG spot because that kind of history and communication on the line could be really beneficial. Plus both are really nasty run blockers and id love to see them pancaking defenders together.

Interesting that they put him next to Jimmy Ward and Jason Verrett the two veterans in the secondary I bet that's to help him read NFL secondaries Kyle is a genius lol
Or it’s just where they had an empty locker because it used to be Sherm’s I believe
I read somewhere that it's a coaching thing, they mix up the lockers to encourage players from different positions to get to know each other. Increases team cohesiveness and probably attributes some to team culture

The fact that they hid it for a month after making that trade in this day and age is phenomenal congrats to Kyle John and the 49ers and the fanbase. Only real fans knew it was going to be Lance after the trade. Trey Area!

@Tommy Dong let me give you 1 clue , We're the 49er "Faithful" for a Reason . if you did you Home work on Fields mac and lance , only only 1 fit that bill in the type of player / personality / belief system and Lance was all that but like Daily Drip Said Only Real Fans know these types of things. :)

I havent watched football since 2006 because I got tired of the vikings choking. This is the first time I'm looking forward to football to start cuz I'm a 49ers fan now. Gotta show Trey some love from his hometown. Hes gonna win the superbowl out there in San Fran for all of you. He dominated the field in high school, he dominated the field in college and he will dominate in the pros. Btw he would have been just as good at any D1 college in the country just like he was at NDSU!!! Let's go 49ers!!!!
Uk Niners fan here, i fell in lover with the 49ers in the mid 80’s when Joe Cool was QB. We got 1hr highlights each week on channel 4 and I was mesmerised by the uniform and the crowd. I just love what we did in this draft, in John and Kyle I trust. I finally got to go to San Francisco in 2018 and loved it, can’t wait to get back out there and take in a game at Levi’s this time

Don't let the haters pour any doubt on Trey Lance's ability. They're just jealous their team wasn't able to draft him. To get drafted in the NFL is a feat all it's own whether at #1 or #259. How good they will be won't be known until they have been in uniform and playing on that field. Keep a positive attitude and hope for the goal of winning the Super Bowl every single year. That's what the 49ers need to strive for year in and year out. Any less should be considered unacceptable. Every season starts with the goal of hoisting the Lombardi Trophy.
For real. I feel like the Niners are one of the most hated teams in the NFL, so that's why we were hearing "Mac Jones" from so many "experts". They were trying to wish it into existence

Means the 49’ers 2nd Rd Trey Sermon (Running Back) pick was brilliant too. With best in college offensive guard rookie Aaron Banks who will start, the offense is already is going to another level.

As a 49er fan I'm excited and super thankful we didn't draft Mac Jones. I wanted a player who could move the chains
with their legs if the pocket collapses and Mac Jones is the opposite of that. I really hope this guy ends up being the
best franchise QB the 49ers have had since Steve Young. It's been way too long since the 49ers have had a dominate

Kellen Mond is in an equally good situation in Minnesota....thats certainly not to say there is a comparison in talent because there is not. Lance is truly special.
Kind of bummed we took Talanoa. I know he has talent but watching him play last year he had a lot of dumb unsportsmanlike penalties and overall seemed like a headcase on the field. Hopefully he turns it around for us.
