@@codepiep I had to set meta tags. but I guess it's perhaps because I used the simple , straight-forward method to create social-links, instead of the plugin you made use of in this video, anyway, both our methods work, and this is the only thing that matters.
Try using the fontawesome icons outside the curly brackets, in your project templates. Why because, you might have added font awesome dependencies in your project files not in social share files. That's why it is not taking your custom CSS in social share templates... Hope this makes things clear
Hi, the buttons are working, and the link is being shared but its not showing the the image. Any suggestions of what i may have missed? The link does indeed have an image , but that image is not part of the link preview which is what i want.
I think i fixed it. So you know that , i didn't fully understand how to use it. I included e.g. details.art_url (the django link to my image which is stored on cloudinary) to the template and it now shows, at least for facebook.
how can we do this in django rest framework via APIs?
That is something to ponder on ! Will try to explore it soon...
Very useful.. Thanks for sharing
I am glad it was helpful
Thanks for sharing, But what we need to do, so our image will also displayed when clicking on the social-share link?
The forst image from your post will automatically be taken for the share ... Provided you should have an image on your page

I don't know if it's possible in my knowledge... But there must be some way !

Hi, this is a third party library so we need to check the documentation once

Bhai usko icon kaise banaye? Plz help
Download an icon online, maybe SVG or use fontawesome... Go to the template of that particular share option and modify the html using SVG or icon...
