I’m so glad you stopped at my favorite yarn store Craftworks in Northborough, MA. It’s the best for yarns and gifts the staff is fabulous and they offers so many different classes. I know that I can get my questions answered and sit and knit for a bit after perusing all the yummy yarns.💕. Iris
I recently made the same advent baby blanket using a Fangirl Fibers Halloween countdown with 31 minis and no main color. Instead of changing colors at the end of the row, I went until I fully used up a mini, changing colors wherever that landed in a row. I found with so many colors in the blanket, you don't even notice the color changes unless your are looking for them. It meant that I got to use up all the possible yarn with no left overs and also make the blanket as large as possible! Even an extra 2g a color adds up fast over 31 colors that can make the blanket that much larger.
Hi Natalie. How exciting for you to have been designed a sock pattern for sockmas. I could see how excited you are for it. I think with the lap blanket for Kent you could make it wider so you can cuddle up with him with the blanket on you both. Just and idea for you. Get Kent's thoughts on it. So good that Toaster enjoyed being visiting at Brianna's and Michael's place and looks like getting spoilt. I am always looking forward to seeing more yarn tours. Take care and safe driving.
Life is exciting and busy for you guys! The Winter Magic Sock Kit looks so amazing, and your pattern is absolutely STUNNING!!! Great job! I will be watching to see your Crochet Advent Baby Blanket, cause I just started another one 2 days ago, fantastic pattern! Safe Travels!
Does the winter sock come in kids sizes? What a FUN gift this would be for my grandkids who I always put together a SNOW DAY package to celebrate the first snowfall each year!
A purchased blanket is always rectangular in shape, narrower in width and longer in length…….that’s the way our bodies are so making the blanket wider wouldn’t look right. Great video.
Must drive up to Salem! Beautiful and safe city… set for Hocus Pocus is open and town is do friendly!! Could take train from North Station train and 45 min later…we loved it and good food
Love the socks. Thanks for having me test knit. Your videos and patterns make it so easy to transition from vanilla socks. The color work was super easy to follow.
It was so sweet to meet you again at Stars Hollow Yarns... love to hear about your travels and all the wonderful places you have been at. Your new sock design is beautiful and love the addition of the beads. My most favorite piece from all you showed us might be the crochet heart 🥰 See you at Rhinebeck!
My sister lived in Milford CT for 7 years while her hubby went to Yale. Ivan been there and it is an adorable little town that definitely has Stars Hollow vibes!❤
I’ve let Katy Collin who owns What a Yarn 🧶 a local yarn shop in St Albans VT , know about your upcoming visit in our area , Natalie. I hope she reaches out to you , so we can meet you and Kent . We have some breweries you could check out too. 😂
I would love to hear more about your design process. I have designed two shawl patterns but don't know how to move on from my hand-written pattern. It was so nice to meet you and Kent.
For the advent blanket for Kent, can you keep it at the five rows so that it’s longer for him, but then use your full screen to do a couple rounds of a border so that it’s also a little wider? Thinking a scalloped edge or even a double crochet “ribbing” would give it some additional width without having to be too many rows
I’m not sure if I’ll be going to Rhinebeck this year but I was hoping you would be attending the Vermont wool and sheep festival this weekend. Darn! I’ll be wearing my Long Summer Cardigan, my very first sweater I’ve made so far. 😊
If I’m not mistaken you did not knit the 3 inch brim on the Qiviut side because you do not want that yarn to show as the brim when you wear the hat. So you do need to knit 6 inches of brim from your other yarn.

Driving from Metro Boston area to Maine, you have to drive through New Hampshire first. 'Round here we would say, can't get there from here!
How exciting you're now in my neck of the woods! Autumn is spectacular in upstate new York. Enjoy!!

Hopemade Yarn is from New Jersey, by the way.

Yes exactly! And that’s probably part of the reason I missed it 😅
I am using doubled needle to start my Musselburg hay how do I transfer to circular needles
The Woolly Thistle or Vermont sheep and Wool this weekend?
I think it will work better for Kent if it’s longer.
Another great episode! Btw, Do you have a link to the podcast video you mentioned… where they interviewed you? I’d love to watch it! 💞💖
Whoops! Yes, I do! Adding it here and to the description: ruclips.net/video/PRXwUT9kwX8/видео.html
@@KnittyNatty awesome! Thank you so much!!! 🙏💞💖😅
You forgot to tell us how much sockmas kits and pattern is?
Natalie’s pattern is separate and I am not sure what it will retail for!
Kind weird for an artist to be promoting AI
Opinions are split. Just as many artists use AI as there are artists who oppose and avoid it.
@@Cutest1TheGame it's objectively bad for artists
