You really are what you eat with Farmer Vincent's smoked meat in this creepy horror yarn that "packs a punch that goes way beyond mere terror" (Boxoffice). Vincent's popular products contain a special ingredient that the psychotic farmer and his sister would literally kill to keep a secret! Starring Rory Calhoun (Angel), Nancy Parsons (Porky’s), Nina Axelrod (Time Walker, Cobra) and John Ratzenberger (Cheers), and directed by Kevin Connor (From Beyond The Grave, At The Earth’s Core), this darkly funny flick "just might be your cup of meat" (L.A. Herald Examiner)!

I've watched this before. I'll tell you something. Cheap horror back then (80s and 90s), is a million times better than cheap horror now. I can watch older horror movies like this all day, but the newer stuff is so hard to finish in one sitting.
There is no thought put into endings any more, the audience has to imagine their own ending.
💯 💯💯💯
No kidding, back then you didn't have Blumhouse being a bunch of sellouts.
This was more of a late 70s movie. Fun, gory and campy, with that typical 70s vibe.
Couldn't agree more
Saw this as a kid in the early 2000’s. Started playing at night when I was sleeping in my parents room & they were already asleep. It terrified me & made me feel depressed. I never forgot the concept of the heads in the garden. I tried to describe it to my parents and others recently in life & nobody remembered what I was talking about. Finally found it again. The sound of my parents’ snoring only added to the creepiness. 😅
*_You still sleeping with your mum? I wanna watch & join. Not only am I an horror flick fan. I'm also an avid voyeuristic swinger._* 🤪🥴
I also saw this around 2007 on an October night ~1:00 a.m. I was in my 20s tho on my couch in my small efficiency apartment I rented at the time. Same - I also never forgot the creepy concept.
I just picked up the last copy at Walmart for $7.00. Must be a popular old school flick..
I saw this as a kid in the '80's, and it TERRIFIED me for years after, especially the garden scenes. Now, I love horror, and saw so many films at a way younger age then I should, but for whatever reason, this one just stuck with me. Watched it again as an adult, and couldn't believe it ever scared me in the first place. Great, campy, horror flick though...totally recommend checking it out.
I also saw this as a kid!! Something like 6! Never really understood it but always rembered it!
I'm 47 years old and saw this for the first time tonight. it was truly a 💎.
Ohhhhh yes definitely I remember my dad let me watch the original evil dead when I was 5 years old I love horror movies ever since
@@brucekearns8876 great parenting
@@dominicturner77 Considering our generation doesn't need cry closets at college and work? I think it was a great upbringing. My Mom and I used to rent horror flicks by the handful growing up just TO scare ourselves some. To be clear, Gen-X is a feral, don't come inside until dark, self-raised generation. And I wouldn't trade it for any bubble-wrapped fantasy land they consider "good parenting" now. Kids have almost zero respect for anyone and it shows. That is the detriment of the participation trophy parenting style that lies to kids and swells their ego. As for me? My kid is not quite 18, about to enter 12th grade, and has been doing college along with high school work... Don't be so quick to think you know better. Again, like ME? Chances are, you don't. Just sayin'.
Saw this in the theater in 1980. When you're a kid seeing this R rated horror film in the theater, it's scary stuff.
You don't consider it campy.
Agreed
Seen it with my mother and cousins
Great point.
Yes, very intense and leaves a lasting memory.
They don’t make horror movies like they use to this trailer gave me chills
Did not eat Slim Jims for a good couple years after this one.
420FlowerPower I never ate Slim Jims in my life.
You shouldn't eat them anyway
420 flower power, after watching this movie, I was scared as hell! No I couldn't eat Nothing but salad and that creeped me out. L. I just got done watching THE BURNING and believe it or not, I hadn't watched that one, but thought it was alright. Noticed it was directed and produced by Harvey Weinstein! I should have known with all the naked young people in it! Lol.
Joretta Fullington 🤣
Yup! 🤣😂🤣
One of my all time favorites! Meat's meat and man's gotta eat!
“I’m the biggest hypocrite of them all. My meats…I used…preservatives.”
😆 This might be my favourite line from any movie ever.
The Narrator from this trailers is soooo goood !!!!!
Ida and Vincent were good people. We spent a few days there and had no issues. Vincent even gave us some of his patented sausages and they were delicious! Ya know, one day people will appreciate what they’ve done.
That’s best place to stay. Ha ha
I took a massive dump on Ida's gunt
It takes all kinds of critters to make Farmer Vincent's fritters.
Just another classically charming and absurd ass 80s horror movie! Bless this era.
Up until the 80's, horror movies still understood that fear can emerge from immobility.
My mother was the one who got me into horror at a very young age and this and the original Dawn of the Dead are like her favorite movies so needless to say I’ve seen both countless times and love them both
You're eating out my heart and soul babe
It took all kinds of critters to make farmer Vincent's fritters
hahaha good ol Nancy Parsons from Porkys :D
Is Piggy of the videogame Manhunt
provideEVERYTHING and ol Rory Calhoun of Western fame you can tell Nancy and Rory killed these roles and had great chemistry together
@@eduardnigma9628 yes
I remember seeing her from so where . Best part of the movie was when she was describing his genitals and mad in the office .
Rented this around 87 or 88 when I was 10.
Laughed it was so stupid! The only thing I remember is the garden and how they broke their necks with the tractor.
I just picked up the Scream Factory DVD for this
70s and early 80s horror seems the best
As a very young kid it stuck with me.
I watch this every halloween. Just a great original movie.
Heard from a coworker.bought the only blu ray..can't wait!

It takes all kinds of critters to make Farmer Vincent's fritters 🍖
One of the first scary movies i ever saw. Terrified me. I was 12, maybe 13. I was terrified.
This is an awesome horror-comedy, super cheesy and campy, lots of fun!
And the cop was Officer Grossmen from the tv show..Chips in the 70s jjjjj
This movie is highly depraved. I loved it .
This trailer is more like a parody trailer than a genuine one for an actual movie :D
I'm a 80s kid USA up all night with Ronda me and my brother watched everything till 5am in the morning I was 12 he was 8
12 vegans dislike this
...and at least a couple of confirmed meat eaters were pretty uncomfortable
back when people's attention span was greater than a mosquito's. Now, ads are 10 seconds long because mePhoners can't stay focused longer than about 3 seconds before giving up and clicking somewhere else.
They tried to sell it as a humourless slash movie. Should have been huge.
Yeah, this was supposed to be a comedy horror but I didn't laugh once when I saw this as a kid; It just freaked me out.
Hear that? That's the sound of the vegans hitting the floor.....
It's a one of a kind flick. Love it
Saw this in the theater when it first came out. I was in the army in 1983 and stuck in the shithole of White Sands Missile Range, NM. My buddy and i would go to town for cheap movie night on atuesday nights. Just an excuse to get off base and experience some sanity. Movie was so hokey it was good.
Is the movie region free?
Larry!
I'm pretty sure it is. and xbox ones and ps4s are region free.
Nicholas Barnes Playstations and XBoxes are definitely not region free and Scream Factory's discs are usually region locked. But Arrow has released the Blu-ray in the UK.
don't go driving by those country roads 😎😙
@@Nick-gv9un ps4 is region free for games not movies

I watch this back in like 2015 on comet tv channel good movie NOSTALGIA to me
Once you check in, you' ll never check out......
This movie is related to Texas chainsaw and the shining
Is it just me or does commercials back in the day make the movie look worst than it actually is??😑🤔
I was born in '85 and my mom let me watch scary movies as a kid. I was only scared of Chucky. I think the old movies are better than the new ones/remakes despite the technology advances. I'll watch the black and white Night of the Living Dead still or The Birds
Good film...
This is one horror movie I enjoyed can’t forget this movie💕🦊
What other movies has a chainsaws fight?

0:59- Yeah, this'll get a cult audience, but some people like Roger Ebert with his 3 star review were there from the beginning. God, I'm hungry.
2:04- By God, they buried novelist Francis Hodgson Burnett.
2:30- Okay. Fine. I'll go elsewhere then.
I’m surprised they didn’t name this movie “MotHell”
Good one
