Nice...... glad you took it steadily and arrived safely. The market looked interesting. De makes me laugh so much.. good on you! Cheers, nice albergue....on to the next one x
Great to see you bouncing back! We're off for a "brief stroll" now and we'll be looking for more and more hills and elevation as part of our training after having watched you guys.
Hi Mac By the sounds of the training you guys have done the Camino ( although still a challenge) will be enjoyable for you both. Yes the hills are taxing and although you become fitter with each passing day and you will also shed a few kilos ( I lost 8kg ) they are still hard to manage but like I said your training will hold you in really good stead. Also have you watched “ The Way “ ? If not I would highly recommend it
Jim you certainly deserved that ice cold beer, well done! Loving your travels, the drone shots add an extra dimension to places I have also walked and loved. cheers
Hi Christine Yes .. I don’t think there is anything better than a cold beer after a long walk and yes I agree the drone shots add a whole new perspective to places you have been
Hi Kevin Sorry for the slow reply ( we have been out bush for the last week and a bit ) So glad to hear you are walking this year . Its great to see people are once again on the Camino . I hope you enjoy your stay at Albergue Atrio ( we sure did ) although they do not serve pilgrims meals there is a great little restaurant just down the street that dose . Like I said we are so thrilled the Camino is once more coming back to life. We plan to walk the Portuguese way next September ( god willing) Please let us know how you found your stay at Atrio and a very Buen Camino Jim and De

Yep De always makes me laugh too and she would have loved to “ shop till she dropped “ but carrying the extra was just not an option
:-)
I love how positive you are, even on the hard days!
Thanks Wendy
Good company makes it easy
:-)
At 4:10 Mountains, Fog, and an Outdoor Market on the trail. What a combo !!!
My ABSOLUTE favorite day of my ‘short’ Camino from Astorga last May/June... loving your vlogs!!! 🇦🇺👣♥️
Thanks Bek
Astorga was one of my favourite places, it must have been a spectacular place in its hay day
:-)

Oh I forgot to mention. De had a full knee replacement 18 months before we walked and she managed just fine :-)

Managed to get a booking at Albergue Atrio (private room) for (hopefully) an upcoming October walk. It's fun to see inside!!
