    Sorry but you are describing center-surround ganglions receptive fields. I think that lateral inhibition is a more diffuse phenomenon acting directly onto the cones/rods through horizontal cells with no implication of the ganglions. 2 differents things. Tell me if I'm wrong.

    I didnt see any explanation of how lateral inhibition works lol. Nothing about bipolar cells, nothing about inhibitory lateral cells, just ganglion cells but not how they actually achieve this...

    I really love that you speak fluent English. I just tried to listen to an indian guy explaining it and his accent was annoying the shit out of me because I couldn't understand a word he was saying.
