Oh wow I was also led to watch this video. I was not married but engaged and only since our breakup has God been putting the jigsaw together bit by bit. I am still in contact with my ex fiancée and was unsure why as that is not me and I have been on my knees praying for him like never before and now this video has come before me. I still love this man despite the hurt, anger, sadness and I need to ask God why he led me to this video. So powerful and so much given, yes God is the God of the impossible and miracles. Right
We often times don’t abandon our children when they’re giving us a hard time yet we abandon our marriages during hard times.
While I respect what you’re saying about not being quick to abandon our marriages, let’s remember that men are not children. They adults. If a man wants his wife to remain, than he must do the work required to become sober or he’s going to continue his abuse. Furthermore, I find that the sex addict is the one who abandoned the marriage first. God doesn’t co-sign on abuse. Sex addicts are Abusers. They need help, but sometimes they refuse it. The wives and children deserve to live in a safe loving environment free from gaslighting and manipulating. I can tell you stories of many Christian Women who have had to leave because husbands refused to get help. I experienced this for decades as a child and a wife. Check out Leslie Vernick’s Blog on these types of abusive marriages.
It depend on the person and situation really. Either way we must learn to pray over people and marriages, and pray that people are led by the spirit of the Lord regardless.

God has forgiven each of his children and knew the challenges we’d face. Wisdom and obedience were the tools used along with grace and mercy. Calling a believer an addict is accusatory and actually not what our Father wants us to do. Remember that the person who committed the offense was likely abused as well. Our position as children of God is to humble ourselves and pray. I got caught up in the psychology of sin and offense and it led me to bitterness. The weapons of our warfare are NOT carnal.

This was such an incredible testimony from beginning to end. Rebecca's posture, seasoned execution of sharing her story, and the wisdom she shared are nothing short of a miracle. I've listened to her story many times, and I've listened to this particular broadcast before, but as I listened to it again today, it's from the place of me finding out my husband has struggles and has been unfaithful and I never imagined I would be here. Thank you for your story, for your strength and encouragement. Daily, I am clinging to God in hope.

Stay close to God!! I have been through as well, after 24 years and I was devastated, but God restored me. Sometimes I still sometimes get triggered 17 years later and I still have trust issues, but I know how to deal with them better. One step at a time, healing is a process.

@@pinkeverything5362 Wow people really do comprehend differently what the Bible really says. If it was just a small tiny drinking problem why would a good woman consider divorce only unless this drinking problem made her husband a different person in a bad way. If so, that’s a problem that needs to be fixed. And if the husband doesn’t want to fix it, he is doing a disservice to his wife and children under God.
Get to the core of the problem. Alcoholism comes when a person uses alcohol as a coping mechanism. So the mission has to be to get to the core issues that troubles his sober mind. What is inside his mind and heart that robs him of peace. You discover the core issue and he will recover. Alcoholism is the fruit. What's in the roots? God will power you for this. Trust Him and believe Him for His promises.
I love Rebecca. Virtuous woman. I can listen to her stories of wisdom all day.

Wow. I had the EXACT same experience! I woke up at 1AM for some reason everyday and decided to pray whenever I woke up. Everything she talked about is what happened to me! From the fight, to the revelations, to the anger, to the voice asking you to leave to being taken care of to forgiving. Praise a God! I’m rambling but God is GOOD. Holy Spirit, I love you.

This really hurt. Because the addiction comes from different things. My friend went through the same thing and what made him hide it . Was the kind of addiction he was ashamed of. He been messed with as a boy and I believe he still had the feeling for what he was introduced to. And being in the relationship with his wife and knowing she wasn't able to take care those feelings. I pray that everyone man is delivered from this, amen🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Wow, I too was lead to watch this video. God spoke to my heart to check up on my husband and from that very moment I understood what I was about to uncover. I understand that I must forgive and change must also happen. I have not made any decisions yet but I am beyond grateful for the woman that shared their story because I know that I am not alone.

This is so so amazing. I went through the exact same thing when my boyfriend and I got together. I had pregnant 9 month into our relationship and he has cheated on me. He is a different man thanks to god and mentorship.

Wow...talk about on time!!! Initially I thought to begin this comment with "I don't know why this popped up in my feed", obviously that wasn't necessary because like some of the others have stated "I'm going through something". The testimony helped me to take a different look at my situation and to stop being so angry. Almost immediately I felt a sense of calm within me so that I was fully able to receive what Rebecca was offering. I know it won't happen over night but at least I am open to the possibility of it (forgiveness/better understanding) actually happening. I'm tired of being and feeling so angry and disappointed, it's quite exhausting. Amen and Thank you

This was so powerful...as a woman whose almost two decade marraige ended after significant infidelity on my ex husbands part I found it easier to forgive the betrayal because of his childhood trauma but the the financial situation he left me in starting over at 47 years old is another story. I work on this every day, asking for guidance to forgive. Blessings for this video that reminded me that GOD has my heart ALWAYS.

I feel God led me to this video.. Rebecca , youre an incredible woman of God and you have so much strength .. I am going through something similar and I found comfort and hope in this video. God is also working on me.. im struggling very hard with forgiveness as I've been nothing but good. I feel I didn't deserve this and it came from someone who treated me like a princess so I was blind sighted. I can only pray and hope that I can forgive this way soon and be set free from this pain. This is really good. Although I'm not dealing with infidelity, forgiveness is something I struggle with. And actually listening and trusting God's direction. Only because I've been let down so much. But I believe God restores and gives second chances. 🙏🏾✨✨✨

Stay strong. You shouldn’t feel like it’s only you trying to keep it together. Have you both considered couples counseling/therapist along with individual? It could help, because it’s marriage I feel we all should fight until you see the other person no longer wants to, if it comes to that then you know what the next step should possibly be as hard as it can be, but on the other side there will be peace of mind

I was in a similar situation with my son's father who's my now ex-husband. We've been divorced officially for just over 7 months now and I didn't want the divorce. I felt like I had no choice, though. Too many secrets and countless opportunities for him to be completely honest with me. The infidelity was deeper than he told me, which I found the full truth through court and social media. I wished my story had a happy ending but I know that regardless God has a plan for my life and I'm walking in it.

This is the third time that heard Rebecca Crew's story it's like something out of fairy tail book.
