That is true now a days this isn’t feminism in the past we had a reason to have feminism I mean we didn’t have the same rights as men and feminism at that time helped us get them, now name us a right that men have that women don’t It is a shame to compare the feminist movement from then to the “feminist” movement now ❤
In that entire period mentioned, start to finish, tens of millions of men and boys as young as 15 were forced to die agonizing deaths protecting women. But, yeah, women not having credit cards hit me much harder... -_-
They fail to mention that most women didn't want the vote because they didn't want to get drafted. It's a what's mine is mine, and what's yours is mine attitude nowadays.
The thing is when you explain history, explain it in whole. All of this expect abortion( because obviously we don't have that gift so we can't misuse it). 🤷♂️ The rest none would be possible if the men are not signed up for draft. Women got rights to vote in 1920's because they wanted it but men still to this day cannot vote without insulting in the draft. Again the credit card very limited amount of men could own it. Same goes to education in all those big colleges well it's even now because half of the seats are reserved for women and other parties. Straight men need sto work 3x harder for the same seat and jobs if a woman applies for it. All of this is ignored in feminist history because showing the dark side of this will only release wide spread backlash.
Tbf with roe vs wade it was just a stupid decision by US Congress to not formally put it into law earlier. If you need a judge with a creative interpretation of the law to make something legal, it’s not well founded in your legal system. They should have made it a basic law and human right just like all the other countries in the world that legalized did.
I don't wanna hate, because I think it's important we learn about history and it's pretty clear most people don't give a shit anymore but I don't really see how this affects modern feminism. All this is in the past, and while we should celebrate the accomplishments we've made, this does nothing to address any issues talked about today with the only exception being the Roe v Wade case in which it was just glossed over. Honestly I think it's better to create long form videos actually going into detail with these topics and using shorts as small promos for those videos, as shorts just don't have enough time to make a substantial political argument.
this doesnt relate to paying for dinner situation at all and if you say a women shouldnt let her boyfriend pay for dinner youre not actually advocating for women at all because the point is about her having the choice so youre doing the same thing youre fighting against indoctrinating them
im pretty sure the person in the "not a feminist" video is all for women's rights just not for the man-hating feminist movement that exists today
Well said, "what the feminist movement was" not is.

You missed the year women had to go to wars, oh wait

Be thankful you weren't eligible for the draft. That's why men had voting rights and women didn't. Feminists like to leave that part out though.
The fact that you memorized these is cool and all...but why tho?
She's reading it, her eyes are going in different directions during the video
Try to explain how modern feminisms (2000-present) is valid now. You all have rights, stop trying to push and you will not be met with resistance.

The fuck was the point of mentioning all that shit? She diluted the point she was making by boring the viewer 😂
Don't use my country's jersey, you don't deserve it

Edit: just realized this was a video and not a short. RUclips needs to stop pushing this shit on us.
She said all this and thinking that voting back them would give them privilege, woman it aint😂
There was reasons for this tho
