I’m looking for a song mid 90s Black Female singer in a lowrider, with some guys. Some scenes she’s on a corner singing and the lowriders driving past / in the background jumping around. Can’t remember any of the lyrics
Remember my big cuz bumping this in that blue box chevy outside my grannies so loud and that beat was so 🔥 and smooth. I've played it like 4x times today cause that beat is just 🔥
The soundtrack song of my graduation year of the '95. I have had this single since '95 and it has survived almost 20 years. I have to go to it once a month to rekindle the memories.
Yall gotta pinning the gens against each other should just got home and sleep, assuming peeps don’t vibe with songs cause of the year they are born is wild. Keep that selfishness outta here bro bro
Bro you might remember a song I’m looking for, female artist RNB song, she got picked up by 3 guys in a Chevy impala and they are driving around hopping about. In one scene she’s on a corner / pavement singing and car is driving around in background hopping
I don't know how much this song was promoted back in the day but, it should have went #1. I was working in a warehouse during the summer of 95. I was the one blasting mixtapes that helped everyone keep working. Some of the more popular R&B artists that were out that time included Soul For Real, Monica, Brandy, TLC & Adina Howard. D'Angelo had just came out with Brown Sugar and birthed the NeoSoul movement. But whenever this joint right here came out, I remember it put everyone in a trance almost.
You remember a song possibly called “How long?” Chorus went “How long” dum dum dum “how longggg” doom doom dooom x 2 Sounded very funky as if Dre produced it, boy group almost had a Danny boy sound about it
This takes me back to my Senior year of High School and I spent the Summer in Virginia Beach. All the guys passing by had this blasting!!! This jam brings back good times/memories♥️
@LocalTVBuff1985 Who you telling, I remeber seeing the summer jam @ rouge park in like 95 or 96 with Brandy,Usher,Monica and my Detroit boo Aaliyah but I was so ready to hear this jam...Dude I have been looking for this song and "through the rain" by Tonya Blunt for a fucking min. Damn I miss Detroit.
@sarahsimpkins1311 Wowwwwwwww 3 years later huh LOL. This is what I loooooooove about the comment section, You never know when You may get a reply! Alllllrighty see You in 2026🤣😍
My older cousins were teenagers and I was still in my adolescences in the 90’s in Detroit. So I can recall all the spots that they use to talk about. All the local music they use to play all the styles.
Saw this on a version of Video Soul when I was living near the base in Lessville / Fort Polk, Louisiana. Great video & later when in Dallas / Lancaster, Texas area saw the cassette tape in the music store but didn't pick it up. Thought I would never hear this song again as very few radio station play classic / good ol' music...although I've found one here in Olympia that has been going way back every now in then...98.6 FM. Can you say Krush Groove? Maybe one day this jam. Take care.
Janine is a successful entrepreneur, business in Farmington Hills, and Chris studied forensic science. Both ladies are successful in their careers and still very good friends!
