LEADIN:
From smart TVs, to smart phones, to smart shoes - CES in Las Vegas has been showcasing the latest innovations in consumer tech.
The annual event took place from 9 to 12 January.
STORYLINE:
CES in Las Vegas kicked off with the battle of the smart TVs.
Both LG and Samsung unveiled transparent televisions at the consumer technology show.
However, LG was the winner according to critics, with what it calls the “world’s first” wireless transparent OLED TV.
A wave of gadgets powered by mobile and AI-friendly chips washed over the exhibition hall, like this one from Hollo AI.
It allows content creators to create their own AI digital twin in minutes.
According to the company all you need is selfies and voice memos in a phone app.
Another gadget was a mask with a difference.
If you're struggling to find that private space for an important call, startup Skyted may just have the answer.
