@@wendyhodges7172 I was obsessed with that one album they released called 02: Remixed, which were kind of techno/remixed versions of their past songs hehe
I heard my first Avalon song 25 years ago. It's called Adonai. I got to do a solo for the Southern Gospel singing group in 2007 and Adonai by Avalon is what I chose to sing. Each member of Avalon touches a different part of the soul.
Bruddah Sam is another favorite reactor of mine, glad he’s home and feeling better. He also follows Voctave, and became a super fan of barbershop music back in 2018-19, so much so that the Vocal Majority Chorus in Dallas sponsored him and his family to come see one of their Christmas concerts. The VM did ‘A Million Dreams” from The Greatest Showman with Voctave in 2018. Nothin’ a 150-man chorus can’t handle 💕💈
I loved your reaction! This is one of my favorites of Voctave. (ok...all of them are my favorites) I've been following Bruddah Sam too. I'm glad he's home and hopefully feeling much better!
Voctave is amazing! And Jekyll & Hyde's music is incredible as well. I'm a little partial and biased towards the 1995 original studio cast recording with Anthony Warlow and Linda Eder, but the 1997 Original Broadway cast recording is pretty great too :)
We all love Voctave but who else likes Jekyll & Hyde? And who else liked Avalon, the band Jody was originally a part of? 😁
I loved Avalon, still do. When I was in choir at church we would sing some of their songs. I miss being in a church choir.
@@wendyhodges7172 Hi Wendy! 👏 right?? Avalon had great songs! 😀
I still have their CD's. I would listen to them every time I was in my car.

I used to LOVE Avalon. I saw them in concert many times and had everyone of their albums.
I saw Jekyll and Hyde in Tampa, Florida, in January 2000. It was 2 weeks after my mom died, so it sticks in my memory quite well.
@@gordongraham7 aw sorry to hear about your mom
wow! they had amazing songs I remember

I first heard this sung by Linda Eder. The video is here on RUclips. It was on the Rosie O’Donnell show. Breathtaking.
thanks Heidi! have a great week! ☺
Love Testify to Love, but my favorite Avalon song to perform in church was Adonai
thats a great song! 🙂
He sounds just like Michael Jackson at certain times. I cried the whole time.
Great song sung by an amazing singer!
I forgot you’d already done A Mllion Dreams, but you should check out some of the VM’s other stuff, Jericho is a great production.
