This year, for our national costume, we take inspiration from Shakti, the fountain of creation, the source of it all.
The red color denotes the blood and symbolizes the power of creation.
The Trishool / trident represents the trinity of Creation Life and Death.
The accessories symbolize the various aspects how our physical body is the yantra or the vehicle to create magic in this universe.
This costume reminds us of our own strength. It reiterates the fact that each woman is a boundless source of energy.
This costume is here to remind you, your divinity, encourage you to look within and reawaken the Shakti that resides within you.

Honestly, i feel like something is missing in this look. I wish her forehead was more red like kumaris. I wish she had worn a head piece like Gods crown and trishul should have been more crafted and looked like Queen Elizabeths Coronation wand with intricate details and shawl should have been plated to the floor length , looks little inadequate length. The concept is good .

Same here. Despite of having potential.still something lacking on her. .. we already have sent strong delegates like anshika , sujita before and the result was unplaced..so doubtful. Let's hope for the best at our favour

I don't know how I feel about this. The concept is nice, but the costume looks tacky as if it's under budget. The trisul imo could've had made a huge difference had it looked more realistic than a 2d shape - it lacks depth.

@Sudip Waiba Tamang budget ni ta Kati hunxa and sure our judgement too is affected by those serial which couldn't be compared as they are so good. And have to say I myself too felt lackness in this guise . 😔
