Quality control and testing is done in Canada. Each housing unit is negative pressure tested for seal, powered on with a pair of Photonis tubes to test electronics and gain, pod threads are inspected with Carson diopters, etc. They are also warrantied and repaired in North America to avoid long turnaround times or shipping to and from Asia.
Do you find the double button press for illumination unintuitive and slow to use compared to say, the PVS-14 that has a twist knob that's really quick?
I know this is an old video, but I noticed when you triple press the power button, it’ll have the same effect as pressing it 5x. Is this intended? Or is there a difference between the 3x press and 5x press? Thanks
the one thing i kinda hate is that a lot of the builders in the US wont touch this system as its a rip off of 31a for some odd reason i find it strange that no one wants to touch these in the US.
What’s required to make the mx11769 tubes to work with the housing? I have elbit and L3 tubes with the removable the pig tails. I can’t find any info online any direction would be appreciated thank you.
Hello, I am not an English speaker and I do not understand very well, could you explain to me how the shutdown function is activated when you lift the housing?
Perfect video thank you! I just bought mine looking forward to playing with it.
great video, clear audio, and lots of info. Thanks!
Perfect simple video thank you!
Great video. Thank you for this!
Awesome video 👍
Nice shooting star at 7:05
Great video!, is it possible you can make a video on how to install your optimized eye piece housing assembly?, would love to see that, thanks!
Is it possible to disable the auto shut off dunction when there is no movement?

Great review! Is that a camo wrap on them? I really like the look
Think its custom ceracoate
What are yours thoughts on a constant flashing red light in the right tube with good batteries and the illuminator off?
Do these have individual pod shut off when articulated up?
Can anyone riddle me this I may have missed this but is it thin film l3 Harris or what kinda imagine tube is it
Does the tube shut off if flipped to the side (if you only flip up one tube)?
Besides the screws and the opfor night solutions tag, what else is different from the Canadian version to the ones straight from argus?

No, the fact that you have to pull and twist on a pvs14 makes the double press easier in my opinion.
Hey man, great Video👍 do you have also any specs about the weight ?
It depends on configuration. This particular unit has lightweight lenses but heavier tubes and weighs in at 495 grams.
@@opfornightsolutionscorp thanks mate

5x is for tilt shut off
3x is for disabling the 3-min auto timer unit shut off
Hi! What optic are you using?
RPO Ultralight with my lightweight diopters

Check my channel I have a guide.
Elbit have removable pigtail too?
@@Jon.151 not the 11769 so you'll have to do some soder work etc
@@Jon.151 yes they are removable.
Do these have individual pod shutoff when articulating just one pod up?
no they don´t have this feature pods will stay both on all the time
I just received a pair myself. How does the batter pack adapter cap come out of the housing? Can't seem to get it out.
Just pull, sometimes they are tight.
@@opfornightsolutionscorp thanks
haha struggeled with the same problem xD but a little gentle force popped it out in the end ;)
How do these compare to the katanas
Old comment but they’re a lot heavier. But they have manual gain vs auto gain. They’re also a lot cheaper than the katanas
how do we stop the automatic deactivation of the tubes if there is no movement?
Press power button 5 times
How do you enable the auto articulating shut off?
These do not shut off when articulated.
Do you ship internationally?
Depends on where you are located. Please feel free to send a message on FB or IG.
do they sell just the housing>?
Yes, they are available at customnightvision.com
Are these 51 degree fov?
No sir.
Your hands look so soft..
Wtf
It puts the lotion on it's skin or else it gets the hose again.
@@mkultra6664 Lmao.
