I often find a dummy, get to lv 12, and find a sans. The reason because of this is because at lv12 you get the glasses and they give you invincibility frames after each hit and the gloves, we all know what they do.
The attack dummy is the best for leveling up as you can easily do a lot of damage to it (if you can't find the attack dummy at least find a dummy with lower defense) This really cool trick you can do: *Try to collect all dummies in one same spot and hit them with your special it literally gives you a lot of exp*

to level up with frisk, get an alt that's also frisk, kill your alt, and then make your alt come back as sans. if you do that, you'll get max level in about 5 minutes
Every time I fight a X Chara they would only avoid and knock me away just so they could get their Overwrite 5 back after using it the moment they got put into 2nd phase
