This is the result of full dedication to what someone loves. There are many errors that are inherent to the renderings, like some split moment in which the monsters "go through" the buildings before breaking them down (in a fuckingly realistic way, for what anyone can do here), I love the way you gave feelings to the gods, how the 2014 Goji made the creepy intimidating faces, how the Japanese Shin Godzilla cried in that high pitch that breaks ones heart, how I felt and still feel the tension when Shin was about to be smashed by 2014 Gojira. I admire these lapses of ultra slow motion intervals when something epic is occuring too, with the details of water sparks, fire debris and all that good, clear bass boosted explosions, beam breathings and roars. I love those poor graphics becoming alive, becoming something to not care about, and I appreciate everyone's effort when doing art with the least. I have no freaking idea about animation, I have no freaking idea about Godzilla, Kaijus and other monsters. But as a high level photographer who uses an old, half broken camera, I can feel in my skin some pride for those ones who, like me, know that beast is not best, and that the good ones are those who make us feel with something made with the most powerful data processor of all: the soul of the maker, no matter the tool used. Congratulations.

No, actually it is becoming "shingoji" improves the amount of energy you have, others in the film that does not die like animals, is composed of trillions of separate microorganisms that must be removed completely or else regenarse again.

In the film it is proposed that this godzilla is formed by trillions of microorganisms (Tal cual as "Destroyah" but are extremophile bacteria), each cell contains genetic material to create another godzilla (like starfish), among them generate an internal nuclear fusion providing enough energy to evolve. If you have winning G-Legendary, I really do not kill him, just let him eat a type of regenerative until supplemented again.
I like how all the legendary fanboys can't take the fact that shin won I also like how they mention KOTM when this was made before it. (This is also a fan animation so it's the creator's choice to decide who wins)

I think you have it a little reversed (my opinion). Shin Godzilla is more reminiscent of the original, and therefore traditional, as an abomination - a reaction to America's employment of 'cruel bombs' - whilst 2014 resembles the sequels in which Godzilla fights to save the Earth.
Still Legendary has the most impressive durability feat of any Godzilla to date. He wouldn't lose to Shin

Easily one of the best Godzilla videos on here. I like how even though Shin wins, Legendary still gets to show off how he would go in the fight. It's really awesome how he is able to power through the photon lasers.

I actually respect how this was done, Shingojira is physically weaker and less able than 2014 gojira and most other gojiras on that matter. However, the shingojira atomic breath is by far (at least in visual destruction) the most powerful to date and for all in tense and purposes seems more like an acetylene torch cutter than a breath weapon. Its the trump card that is pretty much a one hit kill, even more so if the shot made into the mouth.

Legendary uses his Atomic Breath as a finisher, yet here he's using it all the time with seemingly no effect on his energy levels. In the film he only uses it twice and that's enough to exhaust him. Shin's got much better endurance.

Antonio Valdivia Shin effectively used his atomic breath for long enough to drain all his energy. G14 could only fire his breath in short spurts, and that was enough to exhaust him. Bear in mind that Shin fired his atomic breath for several hours, enough to set half the city of Tokyo on fire. Shin simply 'used up' all his energy by prolonging his use of the beam.
Shin was defeated because the military knew his endurance was not great. Using his atomic breath wore him out each time. I wouldn't call that an 'effective' use. That's a weakness. He used it once at the end briefly and was so weak that when a building fell on him he just laid there.
Antonio's right, Legendary was exhausted after everything he'd gone through. 2014 Godzilla showed a more intelligent use of atomic breath, especially at the end, when he did the 'wide open' maneuver on the female MUTO and killed her. Shin wouldn't have had the smarts for that. The fact that he used up all his energy like that proves it. That was overkill.
Why not go fanboy on Legendary Godzilla? SPOILER ALERT: Shin Godzilla reminded me of a 50s scifi movie, which isn't really a compliment. I expected to see the crew from Mystery Science Theater 3000 onscreen in the lower right hand corner. Fanboys dissed Edwards for having Big G onscreen for 20 minutes, when Toho did the exact same thing. They found out CGI costs more than a man in a suit. Had to keep costs down otherwise they wouldn't make a profit. Shin Godzilla is not wall to wall Godzilla. He's in there for 20 minutes, tops. Not enough of the big guy, way too many board meetings. The humans in Shin were even worse than that family in 2014. They talked. And talked. And talked some more. And oh yeah, here's Godzilla!

I am 100% in support for you. It practically astounds me with so many arguments and name calling can come from a simple MMD video. I see effort in the animation, lighting, sound editing, and more. But people rather focus on the results than the actual video itself. Also to all the people who are saying this is misinformation, this is a fan-made video made by somebody who loves the franchise. The only way we can know who would really win will be up to TOHO and Legendary to find out, not us. Take what a fan said with a grain of salt because it is a opinion, not fact and if they treat it as one, call them out. Shin wins for two reasons in this. I loved how pissy people got on the teaser about the thought of Legendary's Godzilla losing and the second reason being it made for a more visually pleasing ending. The battle was never meant to be accurate, so I can't help but laugh at the people who take it seriously. Thanks for actually criticizing the video itself and not just the winner. These comments are why I make videos in the first place :)

You're forgetting Shin was literally born in the modern day and is reactive to everything around it. Legendary's is an alpha predator who's lived millions of years hunting and surviving. All in all, while toho would probably pick Shin to win, in a nutshell, there's only two things that Shin cannot beat.

Well, the fight was awesome. And I do think that perhaps Shin Gojira has the most powerful atomic breath since it mostly turns into intense laser. How ever what I did not like is that the creator didn't took in consideration Godzilla 2014's healing factor, which makes Godzilla heal a cell a second.
The author gave more importance to Shin Gojira, but it would had been more if he or she also took in consideration that detail which I did not see in the whole film.
Isn’t shin’s regeneration far faster though, when he got his back blown open with bunker busters and it was completely healed almost instantly
This video was really good, and I used to watch it so much as a kid, but I never got to write a comment. This was my favorite godzilla video good job.

Well makes sense. Shin Godzilla is far more indestructible than 2014 is. Plus he has instant healing factor and adaption ability as mentioned in the film. Plus he is still evolving. Since they froze him due to the fact there incapable of killing him he will adapt to the blood coagulant and move again. Plus they stated he won't stay frozen forever. At the least he will stay frozen for 2 months. Normally Godzilla can't be physically killed. But 2014 we just don't know until 2019. I love that Shin Won cuz true Godzilla's always come out on top. There is mention of a sequel currently in development.
