Prison Architect - BEST Maximum / Supermax CELLBLOCK Design!
This video by Captain Jordy is all about making a great cellblock for our maxsec / supermax prisoners in prison architect. Maximum security prisoners are hard to deal with so it's important to use special design features and armed guards. Supermax and legendary prisoners are by far the worse prisoners in prison architect, so we are going to design a very good cellblock to prevent deaths and escape.

If you make a T shape with barred wall in the block's corridor, entering the side wall of the block, with remote doors to access the block from the corridor, (prisoner access is at the ends), you can put the patrols in to move through the block more safely.
Essentially a cage for patrols with extra strong doors to get to troublespots.

The thing with maximum security prisoners is that they don't really behave a lot different from medium security if you cater to their needs. Pretty much the only significant difference is when they kick off and have certain traits like deadly, volatile or tough. Then they're harder to deal with. Otherwise a medium security block that caters to the needs of prisoners will most likely also do fine for maximum and to an extend supermax if they don't have any traits.

Won't prisoners have privacy need problems in such small dormitories? I think you need at least 12 squares per prisoners in dormitories.

I do see privacy as an issue, single cells might be the way to go for some. If other prisoner needs are dealt with then it's not really a problem.

I created a Prision where every one who steals or demolish something in my pension is imedeantly super max and gets 400 hours of solitary 😂😂😂 so I only need a small prison with a giant solitary block and no one ever tryed to take something with them 😂😂
