do all due respect, I think lee burridge started doing it quite a while ago so to develop his own party and label reflecting it. in a way, cattaneo also does it for years and so nick curly. in any case, armen miran does a great job following the trend you mention and I think it revitalizes the scene. Btw, if you have ever got the chance of listening adriatique's live show/dj set, they are elegant! even though they are not my favorites, they are elegant as hell and that makes the scene better in my humble opinion...

Another overlooked Disk Jockeying skill is that of knowing how to drop the speed of the music to suit the vibe. Armen is a master of that skill. No other better bpm for Carlo Whale - Archernar than the one chosen by the dj. Perfect!

One piece of an advice. People often misunderstand who's the "artist" and who is a DJ. The one who originally crafted the music is called an artist. The DJ on the other hand (if he does not produce songs) is just a guy that selects those songs and makes a set of them. Not to be offensive here but thats the reality. You see all people staring at him and the decks like hes doing something there with the knobs...Guess what....
I agree but with Armen Miran that's not the case. He is actually a great artist. Just check his original productions and you'll see what's he capable of.@@UrWorstNightMare7
