It looks very good and I bet it works very good. My experience with a similar type of tuning is that for two years had no problem and then I was driving on the highway. This thing got a short circuit or something and the engine basically turn off when I was driving, I don’t suggest this type of aftermarket updates.
@@DIRTROADCRED I’ve had my eyes on this exact tuner. One thing I would love to find out is if that delay is eliminated when giving it gas when at a rolling start? Looking forward to your full review with results.
Nice 👍. I had actually considered that same unit when I had my 2.0 jeep Rubicon, before I traded it in for 392. I found them to be the best R&D tuner out there for that engine. Can't wait to see what you actually get after you have put some miles on it. Great choice 👍
This was our driving review with just the XR package. We plan on doing an update now that the jeep is lifted! Hope it helps ruclips.net/video/bxLccHHIlZI/видео.html
So this is just like a piggy back ECU? Does anyone make a programmer that can directly flash the stock ECU module? I'm usually more of a fan of a true programmer that can be datalogged if needed or if issues arise.
@@DIRTROADCRED totally. Looking forward to the first drive review to see how it performs. Really like the idea of the 2.0T in the Wrangler so excited for the results.
I have an intake , charge pipe and a blow off valve and I'm at 14.1 quarter mile a second faster than factory but the jeep is on 35s can't go any faster because of the speed limiter
Watching now & just back from dealership. Warranty work turned into me spending $ & sent home w/o answer to problem. My 2.0 gets "performance limited service fuel system" message. Got it on drive home from dealership, rig had just came off truck & 3 miles. Forum post has 24pg worth of same issues. I'm under 18mpg avg for 7,400miles on rig. They couldn't "recreate" it so nothing to be done. Have this issue yet? Usually happens to me when going downhill or decelerating quickly.
@@DIRTROADCRED I traded in '20 Willy's with 3.6 and 20k miles, avg over that time was over 20mpg. I struggle to get 20 on highway same driving style in 2.0
I think what I’m reading is that this channel should get a 392 for scientific purposes 😂 There are a few I know trail recon and overland x have them, not sure if they have reviewed them yet
So, basically you want to upgrade your Jeep to ÜBER RUBICON and every time you push pedal to the metal, it will display on screen ‐ Ja, ja das ist fantastisch !
Because manufacturers designed their cars around the people that are going to put their foot to the floor every chance they get which the stock tune can handle fine as far as longevity of the drivetrain is concerned. With the tune like this, if you put your foot in it all the time things aren’t gonna last as long
Yeah I’m curious too. If you get 20% more MPG it could pay for itself in about 5 months. However the 4xe is quite complicated and I worry about it causing issues. For example the tazer jl and the upcoming ProCal snap from AEV had to be specially programmed for the 4xe

Perfect showing us how to install - thanks!! You guys give best info
Thanks dawn, it is greatly appreciated!
Does this leave evidence of prior installation if removed to bring in for service to the dealership?
From what I am reading it won’t show on the computer, however it would show higher than normal boost/map charts if you do a detailed read out

But the Wrangler is already fast and aerodynamic? 😂 great vid man!
About as aerodynamic as a cow!

Will it void your manufacture warranty?
The part would have to directly cause a failure, it is up to the manufacturer on the determination !
How would you rate this against the peddle commander? Ty
Your videos have been great man. 🤙🏻
Thank you 🙏🏻
Does it impact your warranty, specially if you take your Jeep to the dealer for scheduled service?
Depends on the dealer and warranty you have, best way we can put it.
Remove it before taking it in.
I had found this tuner and wondered how legit it was, very interested in the driving review.
Coming soon!
Do you have a vid or pic of where you placed the racechip? Thanks and keep up the great reviews.
I put it near the fuse box and batter area
I only see the xlr for the 3.6 which is only a pedal commander. Do you know of any hp mods chips for the 3.6?
Yes right now they only have the XLR , for the 3.6 I'm not sure of how much more can be pushed out as it is naturally aspirated
Does yours sound like a tractor when idling
might need one for the 23 year compass 2.0 its detuned
Good call!
Wiil this void my warranty on my Jeep 2023 2.0 Sahara ?
Can’t wait to see. If it does great. I will be getting one.
Awesome! I’ll let you know here in a week or so!
@@DIRTROADCRED thanks.
Do you have to run 91-93 octane with the tuner? I have a supercharger on my 2021 Tacoma and have to run 91 octane. We don't have 93 out west.
It would be recommended in race mode, I think 91 would be fine
Will that interfere with a tazer tuner??
Nope!
What’s your coolant temps running at.
Please I could really use a response. Thank you so much.
I will have to check this week, they are typically at the center of the left gauge so I haven't looked to see the actual temp!
Very cool. Think this will work with a manual V6 JL?
Unfortunately this one is just for the 2.0 turbo , they make a throttle enhancer for the 3.6
what if i want one for the 3.6 v6 engin do you have any sugestions
Super chips I believe makes one!
Why not Trail Dash 3 by Superchips?
Never ran any super chips products!
Does that Chip have work on the 2018 2.0?
It works!
Does this void warranty?
Not sure
Does this work for the 4xe
Not sure!
Looking forward to seeing it in action. 👍
You will very soon!
So this is just like a piggy back ECU? Does anyone make a programmer that can directly flash the stock ECU module? I'm usually more of a fan of a true programmer that can be datalogged if needed or if issues arise.
Yes this is a piggyback , the biggest advantage is the ease of removal and usage!
@@DIRTROADCRED totally. Looking forward to the first drive review to see how it performs. Really like the idea of the 2.0T in the Wrangler so excited for the results.
Definitely going to be interesting, I have it in ECO mode now and am already getting results!
2015 Rubicon, can turners be installed on a manual transmission?
Not this one specifically, but there are options out there!
Is this 2.0 jeep diesel?
nope
BTW, how long did it took to arrive when you ordered it?
Mine took about 6 business days if I’m not mistaken, they ship right from Germany!
Does it works for a Rubicon 4xe 2022?
I have an intake , charge pipe and a blow off valve and I'm at 14.1 quarter mile a second faster than factory but the jeep is on 35s can't go any faster because of the speed limiter
Looking forward to the full review. I wonder why you didn’t choose the superchips ecu tune and went with a piggyback system?
I liked the simplicity of this system, full driving review coming soon!
I’m considering it and right now is $100 less. Please update us soon since the offer will end September 12.
Looking forward to seeing how it works
Going to give it a good test!
Do any companies make a tuner for the 3.6
Super chips does!
@DIRT ROAD CREED would this tuner work on a 2023 wrangler 2.0
It should, I would talk to the mfg!
What about the 4xe
Not sure on that fitment!

Is there any type of chip or MOD that can help you get better MPG’s or economy mileage on the wrangler 392 ?
Let me look into this!
Yes, it’s called “LITEFOOT” 😆
Time to add a Borla 11956CB - 2.75" to 2.5" S-Type Series Axle-Back Exhaust System It'll sound like the 2 liter ALFA hehe

Correct you have to add it to your mobile device to make it work with the Bluetooth!
Looks like you can get the pricier one for the same price as the mid-range; no-brainer!
Yup! I purchased the highest model!
