As a Black American who has lived in Namibia, visited Zambia and South Africa, let me just add my two cents. From what I've seen in parts of Africa and these music videos it seems that many African artists are simply emulating Black American artists. This video is a clear example. Here in the US most black musical artists have either light skinned/mixed or white video girls..and so you see the exact replication here. I really wish my African brothers wouldn't copy us because their culture is so beautiful and should stay in its own lane.
