Micky, the voice!!! Most underrated vocalist that I know. Voice as good as Steve Perry's. I love this song b/c I was stationed in Panama in 1989. I was with the Marines. Great memories, great era, great to be young!!!
Julie Martell It's so dated though and sometimes makes me wanna cringe. Chicks in spandex were awesome though, but when they'd walk out of the Ladies Room the cloud of hairspray behind them could make us cough lol. Still better than the 70s with those loud plaid suits and sideburns. I'd have to do an atomic face palm if I participated in that 😒
When I watch video's from 80's and 90's, I just want to cry. I miss those days soo much, all I go through now is heartache, depression and pain that never ends. I want to go back to the good ole days.
Great song from 1989. 70's and 80's was the golden era, the best for Rock and Pop music. Mickey Thomas, fine voice on lead vocals, is still looking cool and handsome, not long before he got his face rearranged by Donny Baldwin, the Starship drummer. A savage assault. You should still be ashamed of yourself Donny Baldwin!

That's a matter of opinion. This is very polished and is basically sanitized pop. What killed rock was dubstep and rap around 2011 or so.

Craig chiaquco guitar work makes this sound like Jefferson starship.and Mickey's pipes are awesome as always.still sounds this great!
Micky, the voice!!! Most underrated vocalist that I know. Voice as good as Steve Perry's. I love this song b/c I was stationed in Panama in 1989. I was with the Marines. Great memories, great era, great to be young!!!
ohh during the Panama invasion right? South Command Network!!
Was also lead singer for Elvin Bishop band
Simplesmente um dos melhores cantores do mundo
These men are musical masters at their instruments and singing!
This song was on my early 90's Florida vacation playlist ( cassette tape!! ). Aw, DAMN, nostalgia for my youth!
Going down memory lane can be bittersweet sometimes.. 🎭
You got that right!!
I'd have to do an atomic face palm if I participated in that 😒
nostalgia is not what it used to be like... :-)
This is 80s (1989) should be on a late 80s playlist.
Yeah Baldwin is a thug..Shame on you Donny..Pity Mickey didn't press charges against him, sling his ass in jail.
When was this? I guess I'm behind on this since the 80s are gone. Lol
If you want my love tell me 'bout tomorrow
Cause I can't wait one more day
Cold in the night waiting for a promise
So all alone I'm hanging on
Woman don't play this game
You'll never get my lovin this way
All this time you've been livin' for the moment
It works for some, but not for me no
It's not enough, to tell me you love me
It's not enough, to tell me that you care (Yeah)
It's not enough, to tell me you want me
Darlin' you know deep inside
If you want my love, then girl you must show me
(Not enough) Oh show me girl
We can make it last if we hold on till tomorrow
Or will we throw it away
Empty words you say you want to please me
But half a heart won't make it right
It's not enough to tell me you love me
It's not enough to tell me that you cried (Yeah)
It's not enough to tell me you're sorry
Darlin' you know deep inside
If you want my love, then girl you must show me
(Not enough)
Empty words you say you want to please me
But half a heart won't make it right no
It's not enough to tell me you love me
It's not enough to tell me that you care (Yeah)
It's not enough to tell me you want me
Darlin' you know
Not enough to tell me you need me
It's not enough to tell me that you cried (Yeah)
It's not enough to tell me you're sorry
Darlin' you know deep inside
It's just not enough (Not enough)
Oh, if you really want to know girl (Not enough)
What it takes if you want my love
😃En lo personal esta es la mejor canción de Starship. 😮Y la voz de Mickey Thomas es increíble, hasta el día de hoy aún la tiene casi intacta.

I was 25 when this hit the airwaves. Was going to college in Aberdeen SD. Boy does this bring back memories.
