- Follow along as I show you how I made this stunning silver band ring. There are a total of 24 sterling wires in 26 gauge that make up the 4 twists in the rope! It is a companion to the recent bracelet I made in the same style. You can purchase the Flatwearable Wire Weaver and Wire Winder, plus many other jewelry-making supplies on our website. www.flatwearab...

Lovely ring ! Can I ask where you got your neat solder sorter and mandrel holder. Some things I cold use for sure !
We have these items on our website. The solder pallion box, www.flatwearable.net/home/soldering-station/ The ring mandrel cradle, www.flatwearable.net/ring-mandrel-cradle/
Excellent tutorial. Where you stepping the solder grades down as the soldering process went on? Or were you using hard solder all the way through?
Hard solder for all of the initial joints, then step down from that to medium, then easy.
@@FlatwearableArtisanJewelry Cheers, that helps. I'm new and still finding multiple solderings a bit of a pain.
Once you get proficient you can solder with only one type. It's a matter of learning to control the flame. You'll get there.
