A new adaptation of the timeless story "PINOCCHIO". Will it be wonderful? Will it scar you for life? come on in and find out. you also get a free...RECUT!
Sorry I missed the live premiere - insomnia beat me down again last night. On to the commenting - Ha! Had to start off by saying my first blush reaction was the exact same as yours. Who is the audience for this? Seems too creepy/weird... that it would freak out little kids. Lean fully into the creepy and go "Gretel & Hansel" with it (have you seen that yet - if not, it'd be a fun trailer to do). I really liked that it looked and felt like a Terry Gilliam film, but it does appear to be in that too creepy/too childish no-man's-land where it'll be hard to find an audience. However, maybe an international audience has a different take and it'll do well everywhere other than the US. Loved seeing Roberto Benigni though! Keep up the good work, bud!
I'm so glad you had the same gut reaction...lol I agree completely about the essence being way too creepy for kids. I do, however, applaud them for actually putting some bits in that are from the original story...which does lend to its uneasy and sinister aura. I have not seen "Gretel & Hansel", I will have to take a look at that! Thank you so much for commenting, you are the best.
The countdown is on! I'll be tuning in! :)
HEY BROTHER! Gonna be an adventure! :o)

I will definitely pass on this film but I'm sure some others will enjoy it. Thanks UH!
Completely understand! It's still a bit iffy to me as well. I will continue to ponder it. "-)
