Ol Cody flat turned the lights out on that dude. Good stuff. You can kill otters in Florida, maybe in Alabama too. I killed one while deer hunting and never even shot him. I was aiming for his head as to not mess up the hide and I hit the dirt right in front of his nose with a 25/06. The concussion of the bullet must have did him in because he was hammer dead never taking another step. I was left scratching my head as to how he died because all he had was a touch of a bloody nose but the nose was fully intact. If you ain't never seen one up close they are a very interesting and powerful animal for their size.
