@@kavisiddu My parents cultivated in me the spirit to rationalise information, and accept facts. I'm curious if you have any argument (apart from your own presupposed imagination of how my parents raised me) to substantiate your belief that the universe, with all its marvels and intricacies, popped out by itself, all from nothing.
As for indoctrination, it is atheists who stuff their beliefs down the throats of their children so that their next generation would let go off their innate conviction about the existence of God. Research proves that some foundational aspects of religions are innate in children, and not taught. I have never liked the idea of following anybody..yes ofcourse you can learn/enlighten yourself from someone but then it's all your duty that you use your brain and do things accordingly....every man on this earth have same capabilities, only difference is how we use our brains....
I just love and respect Javed Saab a lot....but I am following exactly what his views are since yrs before I had listened to any interviews or idea of his...and I never listened to any spiritual guru or followed anybody or read any book...I dnt know why ppl need someone or something to become a simple human being who just lives and let live others...
One of the biggest obstacles for our country to be a 3rd world/developing country is blindfaith...I wouldn't say it's education, cuz even educated and famous personalities are infected with this disease called blindfaith....there is only science and science and science....if something we don't know about the world then that is just our limitations as of now and in future when humans will get to know about that thing then it will no more be supernatural thing...
Every spiritual/religious person follow norms which were set ages ago but same person aspire to have all those modern luxuries...even an average mind can understand that all those technologies, inventions have been created by ppl mostly from developed countries where religious fanaticism is comparatively lesser than those which are extremely religious and fanatics....

Know that in these times that darkness has invaded humanity ,men do not know or love GOD.Their wars, their hatred, and lack of harmony are proof that they still do not allow God to live in their hearts . God has placed the conscience in your being and free will, the conscience is the presence of God,and that it is the true means by which men should communicate with their God and Creator.Only by listening to the voice of their conscience: the voice that to be heard requires concentration, meditation, and prayers.consult your conscience ,if charity and good will towards your brethren lodges in your heart u can be certain that the light still shines in your conscience.

Our perspectives on religious beliefs are often shaped by our interactions and environments. Javed Akhtar's cynicism may be attributed to his personal experiences, leading him to view religious beliefs as outdated. However, for many, religion provides profound meaning and guidance, especially during challenging times. Such blanket statements do not align with the broader public sentiment, which recognizes the enduring value of faith for countless individuals. Moreover, these diverse views also highlight the broad canvas of Indian ethos, which is known for its ability to assimilate differing viewpoints and respect a wide range of beliefs. All religions, really?! This guy has read all the philosophy of all religions? If he has the guts, then please talk about how of all religions, Islam is the most misinterpreted and calls its followers the "chosen ones."That in itself, creates a separation of Islam and coexistence with any other religious philosophy. Just because this man is an artist doesn't mean he has figured it all out. This interview like others is sheer ignorance is what I can call. Now people who wish to come at me for "Islam" please note that the text can be interpreted for the good of humanity but the interpreters of the text are closed minded, unexplored of life, and non-rational individuals. Also the reason, that any country in the world you can pick apart you'd find the philosophy and its misinterpretation has kept muslims poor. There are great people who are muslims in India. But there are also snakes in this country because of whose impression the innocents suffer.
In Shahrukh Khan, the legend's own words: "It is a beautiful religion....Please give your children the correct education of Islam". Unfortunately, because of not following this, Islam has become the religion of darkest ages. And the so-called educated muslims dont give a shit about their fellow muslims to not misguide them.
As a matter of fact the human right of not choosing a religion and following atheism (which he is so), can only happen in either India or europe or even a Buddhist nation, can he think about adopting apostasy in an Islamic country? And then says "All religions are from the dark". Also a quote from the man who made Singapore the richest country here (a word from an Administrative head):
I think we were progressing very nicely until the surge of Islam came. And if you asked me for my observations, the other communities have easier integration - friends, inter-marriages and so on - than Muslims … I would say, today, we can integrate all religions and races except Islam.” (Lee later retracted this comment.)

i think Javed saab gets confused between organized religion( it has its own issues) and visiting a temple. i don't see a difference between visiting a Bar and a temple, alcohol, dim lights, light music elevates your mood at same time you loose your reasoning power( which Javed saab loves) as you consume more alcohol. similarly in temple, the aroma of flowers & dhoop, diya lights, sound of the bell, humming of mantras etc all of it elevates your mood. While you are In a bar or while watching a movie and when you are in a temple you give your reasoning faculty a rest. I think he follows Dawkins pretty blindly...!!
