One extra tip I know is that you can choose a specific or general rehab under additional focus if a player loses physical attributes after an injury. It will help partially or fully regain the lost attributes. It can only be chosen once the injury tag goes from red to orange.
Something I learned the hard way: When you let young players play alot, they will start demanding new contracts. When you give them a big contract at a young age, their hidden attributes can drop significantly. Loyalty can drop all the way down to 1 and professionalism can drop with 7-8 points.
I've never seen this. But then, I always make sure the wonderkids are mentored by the best personalities in the club. And I'm a strict disciplinarian manager. So when I see someone's training drop, I'm in their grill.
Hey man, great video as always. One request though: please try and balance the audio before release. I’m watching with headphones, and there’s a big difference in loudness between your microphone and the musical drumming in the intro. It was kinda scary actually :D
I've ways trained players for the role I want them to play at the Senior Team. The Ajax Way. The only exception is if my tactic has a role like Pressing Forward. Then I'll train him for the conventional forward role most corresponding to the position. Because training as a pressing forward doesn't train the technical attributes I want every striker to have. So a PF(A) gets trained as an Advanced Forward. A PF(S) gets trained either as a False 9 or DLF. Similarly, even if someone is likely to be a Ball Winning Midfielder or Carralero, I'll train him as either the B2B or DLP(D) until he gets to the 1st team. Because I want those technicals to be strong enough to play under pressure even if he's not intended to be a technical player, as such.
I agree with the statement that you shouldn't promote many youngsters at the same time. But there are some circumstances when game literally don't ask you about what you want. For example some low rep leagues have specific club-grown rules for registration, you need to choose either you play with 17 players or 25 but 8 of them are 17 yo, what i faced in Iceland. The cherry on the cake is that clubs in some leagues (like in my Iceland save) don't have u19 teams, or they combined as separate B-teams, and board don't care about that fact. So, again as an example, in my save i ended with 46 players in senior squad, most of them are under 18 and totally crap, but otherwise my best 11 will play 4-5 months without rotation. I bet it is dev's fail, absolutely not thought out leagues.
If your player is classed as a wonderkid at 18 yo..which is 135CA(current ability) ,and had 4/4.5 potential ability, chances are, they will reach the upper tier of ability, 165 and above,( i had one reach 200 ca ,hes ca at 18 was 144) the playing time+facility+average rating will determine this, so if your a big club, find a decent club 😀 to loan them out But if your player just turn into a wonderkid at 19 or at least 20,chances are..their ability is around 140CA or at max 160 ,some might hit it even at 30 yo, So with this info, you can focus on either selling them ,at least close to their max, around their age 20-25 yo for profit,so you shouldnt kept your hopes up too high for your wonderkids.. I guess this info is relevant to a bigger club, and player who like to hoard young potential player,so you can choose pick wisely,on which to kept or use for your main team 🤣
@@BusttheNet its the thing that get me going after 20 season, its interesting looking at CA ,and star potential, how at 18,its super crucial for CA 120ish 4 star player to have game time + great form, to really push his maximum abilty, because they can easily halt at 21, i got multiple cases of this growth , some even stuck at 139, having their growth stunt 😅
I wouldn’t promote them unless I can play them some of the time. Remember as well too big a first team squad is also not good for development because it hinders development.
the xbox traiing isnt as complex but still not sure what to do , im trying to get tonbridge out of vanarama south pre season i set to physical and additional focus as endurance not sure whether just to leave it on balanced and set indivisual training ie 1 week a defender focuses on defence positioning next week focuses on ball control
@@BusttheNet the individual training is the same but not the main training we dont have days and allocation areas its just basic physical teamwork , blanced etc
So, 15 games with 45 minutes is enough? Never knew how much gametime was enough. The game could really do with better training explanations or automatic training

I heard that the contract length is the main problem. If you offer a 5 year contract to your player, the hidden attributes might go down.

I have never gone in to look at their raw CA/PA numbers so this might help others, thanks

Thinks for this tip
Tks for good tips! I promoted all the young players which >150 pa to the main team for mentor because they have bad personalities, so it's wrong?

I am pretty much the training module is the same on the xBox

Does the rating in friendly matches count for the development?
No
what is considered a good enough match rating for players to progress - at least a 6,8?
6.8 is considered a good rating
awesome

Thats more than enough
5 full matches for season is enough for u18
Intro is way too loud
I realized that after it had uploaded :-(
