Medvedev's interviews are always and everytime the best: never dull, always with some interesting point, gracious both in wins and in defeats. He's very self-confident and it shows, he doesn't let the results define him, he knows it's a game and wins and losses are part of it

As an Italian and as a fan of Jannik, but above all as a tennis fan, I feel deep respect for this big Russian guy, because in no uncertain terms he always says openly what he thinks, without ever hiding, and not e5 from everyone, Jannik said that Daniil was the push to try to improve his tennis to finally be able to beat him one day, since at the beginning against Daniil he always lost, then that motivation paid off, the same will be done now Daniil, he will prepare even more with Jannik's motivation, absolute respect for Daniil Medvedev 👍🏻💪🏻

Love Med’s press conferences. He played his best tennis to beat Djokovic in US open final few years ago. May be his level went down a bit and that’s why he’s losing. It may be his reflexes slowed down due to age. To beat Djokovic that time is a big achievement.

I love Meddy as well, he’s the most interesting to hear in press conferences. But I think he’s now playing a lot better than he did in that US Open where Djokovic was completely blocked by the pressure of winning the grand slam. I think the biggest problem with Medy’s game, especially against a very consistent player like Sinner, is his pusher mentality. Sits way back and goes for long rallies without many risks and waits for mistakes. If his opponent has an off day that’s ok but he can’t dominate that way consistently against top players

Sinner will end up getting more slams than carlos due to his solid technique and machine like consistency. Carlos as opposed feels the pressure of putting up a show everytime he's on court ends up spraying UE all over the place. But, in the end, if one doesnt, other gets meddy everytime.

Both carlos and jannik are on a very high level and I would say they are equal, sinner probably will end as no1 this year and both will have won 2 slams until atp finals. Only time can show how these two will evolve. All the best jannik, as Medvedev's fan. You deserved to win, you were the better player.

This guy has settled with losses so much that you could never guess he won or lose by watching this press...

Meddy might not be getting the hardware but he is sure getting the USD. Last year US Open he lost in the finals. This year he lost in the Quarterfinals. If I'm not mistaken the get couple hundred thousands for making the Quarterfinals.

Has he stopped yawning when he plays against Sinner? I remember that he yawned often... More than adorable... He understood that he only deserves slaps in the face and he can't help but recognize it, Making excuses would be ridiculous, And he has to thank that at Wimbledon Sinner was immersed in all those messes, otherwise he would have chased the ball like a puppy there too

It's so juvenile to not put their flag next to their name. He's a great ambassador for the sport.

This was one of the very worst performance from Medvedev in USO. Very disappointed. I think he really need to be serious on court or he ends up as an another Marat Safin despite having all potential. As always, I will be rooting for him.

Serious? That’s the wrong diagnosis. He was serious. He was way too tight and his serve was horrible

This match was a roller coaster, too low or too high, poor consistency unless 4 set. Unbelievable that both almost had a bread stick.!!

If it was anyone other than Sinner, Medvedev would definitely have made it to the final. As an American, I can confidently say neither Fritz or Tiafoe could beat this guy. Sinner is on another level.
