- Rocksmith+ has launched its piano update! As a Rocksmith guitarist with over 10000 hours logged on steam for Rocksmith 2014, can I learn piano fast? Also how does it compare to yousician or synthasia? Will I level up on Day 2 of the Rocksmith plus piano learning adventure??

Chain, I had the same realization as you when trying the Piano recently. Been playing guitar for so long I forgot how much of a struggle it can be. I am very humbled by trying piano

Another bug is atm you can press all keys at once, and as long as you're hitting the note it counts, might be good if they had a separate counter for how many wrong notes you hit too (wouldn't hurt on guitar too)
I can see why its hard to do for guitar given that it has to decipher it only from listening to the audio, but for Piano it'd be easy cause its all midi it knows exactly what keys are and aren't being pressed.
just don't quit is the best advice. i have tried to learn guitar a couple times before and always quit after a week or so. but 14 months ago i got a guitar and amp and everyday since then i have played. I am so much better and I now know I will play for teh rest of my life.

Hey man just to let you know you’ve inspired me to try to learn the piano and even got the same piano as you and just waiting on the cord to come in to play Rocksmith+. In the meantime Its day 1 and I’m learning some songs via RUclips and so far learned Somebody I Used to Know so far.

Hell yeah! Keep it up and you'll be shredding TTFAF in no time. Your not bad your learning we all had to start somewhere. Remember what it was like learning to play guitar and how frustrating it was ? Now look at you. You play it for a living and have a community following! 😁

ok you've inspired me to get rocksmith + I'm Okish at guitar, I know some power cords and pentatonic. but Keys I think I would have fun with it.
Chain, should take some labels/stickers to mark your different C white keys to help you jump between scale/octaves.

You can learn Interstellar! There are tutorials out there and learning sheet music is btw not that hard, I actually don't know what I should think about this kind of way of learning it lol

The dude is the first major boss of the game. Gotta say he was definitely harder than the mordrid. He shows up and says we are gonna have fun. He is talking about himself. Everytime he shows up my hands begin to tremble cause i know this lesson is going to suck.
How does Rocksmith+ compare to other similar apps like Yousician or Piano for Yousician?
