That pain is frightening. I think it is wired into the brain to produce fear in addition to pain. Our bodies seem to recognize anything causing pain to the spine as a profound threat, so a sensation of fear is added to pain.

Yup I did it in 2011 and pinched a nerve after going for a routine lay up in basketball. Was excruciating 24/7 and got an adjustment like this guy but was out for months limping everywhere
Mentally, I think it helps to realize that your back muscles are under involuntary control. When your back goes out (as a spasm), it gets locked in the new position because your brain is compensating and thinks that your new posture is safest. The position sense in the spine takes about 15 minutes to reset your brain's sense of where your body is, if you can get into the correct posture through manipulation. I use a Thumper on my back to relax the sore spots when I feel a tightening going on. This cannot be hurried, as I said, it takes 15 minutes to achieve relaxation. Using a tennis ball also works, between the sore spot and the floor (or wall) and gently rolling the ball around, increasing the pressure as seems suitable. It hurts until the relaxation takes effect. I am not a chiro, and haven't seen one for years, but I do my own preventative maintenance as soon as I feel discomfort. Probably getting wheat flour out of the diet is also important, as this product leads to joint inflammation which is more or less continuous, the older you get, and the more bread you eat.
Good to see he got some relief! I would say he should also see a doctor for a scan and tests, and also to do McKenzie exercises which are very easy even in his condition, those helped me a lot personally.
I am on similar pain now and I totally know how hard it is, no pain can be more painful than that, can’t move upper body and lower body. very dramatic for a normal person to this, Can’t raise much leg or thoracic spine, can’t move at all while having the pain shooting all the time like earrie alarms. only way is decompress and breath which sometimes don’t work(or sometimes pain killers can help), so glad this world have chiropractors that can ease these symptoms.
I can empathize with the pain this guy is experiencing. My back seized up so bad one time I couldn't even take a step without screaming in pain. I had to drive myself to the chiropractor and wait for him to finish with another patient before he could work on me. I never really knew what it meant to "writhe" in pain before that day. I was writhing in pain on the table before he came in to work on my back. I couldn't find a position that wasn't absolutely excruciating. I gave up on chiropractors. I hurt my lower back twice probably from work in the past 2 years and was out of work for a week during each occurrence. What 'fixed' my lower back was a toradol shot from my doctor. I don't know if I have a slipped disc or not because I can't have an MRI because of a medical implant.
When my lower gets like this from my desk job I have to work my hamstrings. When they tighten up they pull on the lower back. I'd also lose the skinny jeans as those are working against you as well. Good Luck Roberto and hope you get relief and you are in great hands with Dr Benedetti

As a physical therapist perspective his quads and IT band are very tight. He needs to stretch them out they will relieve a lot of lower back pain for him.
Ciao amico! Congratulazioni per il video!
A good osteopath is worth their weight in gold. I adore mine, he's a miracle worker!
Reminds me of my first visit to the chiropractor. It was caused by how I sat on our then couches. Got rid of it bc it wasn’t good for my back. Foam rolling helps as well.
This is the 1st video where the clinic interior is so pretty..polished yellow marble & lovely furniture unlike so Cal clinic, so messy & i can almost imagine the smell of those mushy carpet
Thank you for him. You did well !!
Hello Dr.
Which lumbar level did you adjust? And how did u know which one to adjust without an Xray or specific neurological test (apart the SLR)? Thank you
Volevo fare la stessa domanda, inoltre vorrei sapere il perché è stato trattato in acuto senza iniziare una terapia farmacologica prima della terapia manuale
My man in some real pain. I feel bad for him. I hope he is well today
Might have crippling back pain but still looks fly. Gotta love Italian style
My first thought was "The man is in agony but good on him for getting those jeans on!" 🤣
