Especially virtue’s last reward i mean 999 is a masterpiece but vlr is in another level (and for zero time dilema i didn’t play it yet because some people saya its a downgrade for the first two games)
I FREAKIN love these games. And now they're out on steam in English - I won't have to live with the disappointment of realising the voiceover was Japanese for the European version of VLR
I think this is the best intro for any of the 3 games solely for the fact that IT DOESN'T SHOW SPOILERS!!! Technically it does for the vlr transition but its too fast to notice any of them and I looked them over there is only 1 major spoiler but you wouldn't be able to tell if you saw it. EVERY game in the series has an intro with spoilers in it and its really annoying.
The slight spoilers are good imo, they're meant to intrigue you and don't mean anything out of context. If you know what they mean already then they aren't spoilers.
For those who are curious about the lines: *999* Junpei: "What the hell happened to me!" June: "Jumpy! Are you alright?" Santa: "Hey, what are you two doing?" Clover: "C'mon! Are you coming?" Nine (The 9th Man): "Let me show you!" *VLR* Phi: "I'm plenty friendly" Clover: "Hold on a minute!" Alice: "That is the truth." K: "Who am I?" Tenmyouji: "How can I forget?" Quark: (unintelligible) Dio: "What makes you so sure?" Luna: "H-Hello?"

Major spoilers for Virtue's Last Reward The timeline goes somehting like this: 999- Somewhere around 2027. I don't remember if they even mentioned a specific date in this game, but later we learn that it took place 1 year before Zero Time Dilemma ZTD- From the 31st December 2028 to the 1st January 2029. VLR- The Ambidex game takes place on the 27th January 2074, but the participants are kidnapped near the end of 2028, from the 20th to the 25th December. However, the Sigma and Phi we see in ZTD are the ones who already have played the Ambidex game and jumped from 2074 to try to prevent the Radical-6 virus from spreading. So technically ZTD comes before VLR in the timeline itself, but in reality VLR happens before since Phi and Sigma came from 2074, if this makes any sense.
I like how at the end card: (major spoilers for 999 and VLR) Dio (the secondary antagonist in VLR) and Akane (Zero of 999) are close in the card Seven (999 detective) and CloverVLR (spy) are close to each other Ace (antagonist in 999) and Sigma (antagonist, sorta, VLR) have their face in the same-shaped box Santa (person who already knew about nonary games in 999) and Tenmyouji (who already knew about Nonary Games in VLR) have their face in the same-shaped box Name card of the games have been placed in between the players who already knew about Nonary Games (Tenmyouji and Santa) and the antagonists sorta people (Ace and Sigma)
