I actually have Asperger syndrome and I know Waterloo Road is only a TV series and it's fictional but it's disgusting to see poor Karla getting bullied. Sadly, it happens in real life and I also have been a victim of bullying. It's not fun and it's disgusting that people have to victimize and pick on autistic people.
So true. I'm glad Eddie caught what on to what was happening and stuck up for Karla need more teachers like that who stand up for the bullied kids and punish the bullies and not be excusing their behaviour.
I absolutely agree with you that Mika is a aggressive brat. There was no need for Mika to get aggressive towards Karla because it's not Karla's fault she has aspergers disorder. Honestly, I don't like Mika because she's snotty and always has a bad attuide towards others in the programme.
The petition said... “We, the undersigned are outraged that the mere discovery of a dead baby has stopped the phenomenally important archaeology excavation in the grounds of of Waterloo Road. We demand the site be reopened at lunchtime today so that the search of prehistoric monster bones may continue.”
Honestly, I don't like Mika because she is very snotty and she always has a bad attitude towards other people. Another thing, there was no need for Mika to get aggressive towards Karla because it's not Karla's fault she has aspergers disorder.
@@andrewwright4195 Yeah, I understand why Mika was upset because she thought she was having a baby. However, there was no need for Mika to get aggressive towards Karla because it's not Karla's fault that she has aspergers disorder. Karla must be scared and terrified when Mika got aggressive towards her.
Well, it's worth bearing in mind that Mika was going through a bit of an alcoholic stage. Might have had something to do with the way she spoken to Karla, plus the heartbreak and Chlo going missing etc etc
I have Asperger’s syndrome myself and I used to get tricked into having friends when I was at school, it wasn’t an easy journey for me back then, I was always alone and ate my lunch in the toilets and spent breaks in there as I didn’t want to get picked on
I have Asperger's and Alani disability I know how it feels get bullied it's no excuse to treat someone like that just because they're different they have feelings too
I’m really quite skeptical about the whole concept of A.S.D. per-se (the way it’s conceptualised, at least) but Karla’s story (whatever exact Iabel you’d ascribe to her) was very, very good. The irony in it is that those-two girls ended up becoming super-close to Karla. That was a heartwarming moment.
Sorry, I'm going to have to ask you to elaborate on this. Are you saying that ASD should have remained a separate diagnosis from Asperger's or are you saying that autism doesn't exist? Because one of those is debatable and the other is wall-eyed lunacy.
Mika for goodness sake stop being horrible she has a problem there is no need to snap at her how would you feel if you had the same problem and someone did that to you
I honestly couldn't stand Mika because she was absolutely annoying and quite snotty throughout the programme. Mika was bang out of order when she got aggressive towards Karla.
I don't understand why Danielle and Aleeaha would find someone like that funny at all. They should well better that it's not funny that baby has died and that the baby was found on school premises. Danielle and Aleeaha's is sick, vile, twisted and disgusting behaviour tricking Karla into a petition over a dead baby and that's bullying. I hope Danielle and Aleeaha were ashamed of themselves what they did to Karla. 😢
Deleted clip of this episode I found on the dark web: Aleesha and Danielle launch a petition to put Karla in a cage and poke her with a stick. Many people, including Mika, sign this petition.

I love how Danielle and Alesha ended up becoming Karla's closest friends

I love the details in this show. The girls leave Karla to do the musical and the school council and those are the things they get kicked out of.
