Ya know, I honestly haven't listened too much of their ska/punk stuff. I should go back and see what I think of that in comparison to how they sound now. I can't even imagine it (well, aside from songs like this) but you know, their "typical sound" now.
Never would have expected a Katrina and the Waves cover from Ice Nine Kills. Kind of like a bluegrass band covering Metallica and Pantera. Oh wait , that's happened too. Never mind. 😊 I used to hate harsh vocals too, but they have grown on me since discovering bands like EPICA and Jinjer, still prefer a mix as opposed to all harsh. Nightwish? 🤔🤔 That band name sounds vaguely familiar. 🤣🤣

OMG Reel big fish, my daughter introduced me to them when she was at Uni, great American college band originally! I have to admit that I liked Katrina and the waves version better. I wonder if Leo (Frogleap) has done a cover of this? 😂 It was OK, not as heavy as I expected but I guess that would be the influence of Reel big fish! Edit: I like a mix of growls and cleans also, all growls make me feel like I’m listening to Animals 😂
INK initially started out as a ska-punk band. This collab with RBF makes alot more sense to the deep divers.

Maybe it's just my untrained ears, I didn't hear much bass but that's probably for the better, but overall I liked it, Id listen to it again
