For me the best part in the movie was how well she managed to hide in the room to escape the apocalypse
Still waiting for that part 😂
lmao fr the best scene
I like how her mom only has her birthday every four years, hmm but is having one for her 18th in actual years or is she 74? then how olds her mom! but she can only have birthdays every four years from her birth so 4,8,12,16,20! no 18! LOL
😂@@danquaylesitsspeltpotatoe8307
Especially how she gets trapped
Wow. While the plot is absolutely riddled with holes, the ending was pretty well done if you ignore the other stuff.
Yea, the movie was well written, directed, and all around fantastic . . . if you ignore everything once it started.
True
String theory universe within a time loop, which happens to us in nightmares.

To be fair most adults world wide like holes...
Just saying.
Something to think about
This recap was narrated with a mix of emotions. From questioning the sensitivity on Hiroshima, to questioning a delay in the scientist's demise 🤣🤣
how is that an mix of emotions?
@@paradiseexpress3639 From being empathetic to being the opposite.
@@Pumpkin0_0 Empathetic to people who were just living their lives is completely different from being empathetic to a serial killer.
I hope you understand the difference between, children and a serial killer
@@paradiseexpress3639 That was before it was shown in the video that the guy was the villain. He was already calling the guy useless. Even if he knew in the script, the audience doesn't. And the script always randomly makes fun of characters and what they're doing. That was only an example, because the main comment starts with "this recap", so it's the entire recap, not just about the example given. You're the one who didn't seem to notice the first two words before replying to them.
I still think he's a robot, he said "his" when talking about a woman.
“The Spectrul absolute nonsense”
Quote of the year
you mean "resurrect Claire through spectral transbullshit"
😅
It’s actually not bs. The Soviet Union conducted experiments with living people (just like the movie) and determined that their burn shadows contained high levels of energy that only a normal living person could have. This essentially provided somewhat proof of “ghosts.” Of course, the studies were discredited by the US government as well as other governments because of the fear of what the implications could do to society.
Bingo
😂😂😂
No matter how boring a film might be but when this man explains it you can just help but laugh😂.
And its just Ai trying to be accurate! from the stuff it finds online!
@@danquaylesitsspeltpotatoe8307Yeah that's why it sounds so bad
@@BelindaShort Very entertaining and interesting at first you want to see what it says and what mistake it makes!
The funny thing to me about movies like this is that everyone in it accepts that the remnants are physically possible but when someone brings up an conceptual extension of the phenomena like how the main character did to her teacher, he goes, "That's not possible" (2:18). Like, everything else that's going on is not possible either yet it's happening so you can't even stretch it 10% further?
So they briefly mention that the government doesn't want people to know that the remnants can affect reality. Also, Brittner had a specific reason to mislead anyone who got closer to the truth about the remnants. Start digging and start figuring out what they were really doing there, and who knows what they might find about Brittner.
True lmao. "yo we got this crazy supernatural shit going on with ghosts and everything" "yeah, one of them just wrote on my mirror" "what, nah, you lying, ghosts can't do that, everyone knows this" bruh XD
"He's doing that now..rereeally??" 🤣🤣🤣 same question my dude same question
I love the sarcastic commentary in a stern dramatic tone. It's so much fun.
it isss. the spectral trans bullshit/whatever catching you off guard is so funny.
"He should monetize that sh*t" 😂😂😂
"yuurkin' the gerkin"
You my dude have just gotten yourself a new subscriber. 😂
i came here to the comments specifically to look for this
gherkin
The narrator was amazing! "...he planned to use her for spectral absolute nonsense"...hahaha! Probably better than the movie itself...great job!
So let me get this straight....one remnant saves his son from being buried alive, but the other one just continues to read the paper while his daughter is fighting for her life?...
Well I guess they act like real parents... Some better rhan others.
Maybe he knows that all the evil scientist needed was a Jumpscare and his daughter was capable of handling the rest 😂😂🤣🤣
i absolutely loved the part where the Girl Locks Herself In Small Room To Survive The Apocalypse, But She Gets Trapped
edit: ty for the likes!
2nd edit: WOW 600!?!? I ADMIRE YALL!!

@@Hokkai9401 dont you think i know that? why would i comment that then?
@@a1anaaaa i thought you didnt know where it was since its at the very end
@xuriix the op is commenting this because she didn't lock herself in anywhere or get trapped she quite easily escaped and there was no apocalypse at all just hiding from a ghost
We want the old intro back
The other channels took it. Think that's why he doesn't want to do it anymore
He'll make another catchphrase/intro😊
@@pat318turbo3hmm still miss his old intro ❤ but that's his choice. We can wait.
Let’s give some time to make one
@@pat318turbo3he should find another one
LOL "This teacher is useless so far" love it thanks for the laughs.
yo i love how bro makes 2 hour movies into 14 minute videos thanks man
fr
“Bro” is an ai
@@MashaRistova bro u flipping neek he makes jokes in sum vidios he is not a ai even tho he is so what
Lol the movie threw out all the rules pertaining to the remnants in the last 5 minutes.
4:25 Nice Cakes!
Professor blowing her question off saying it's impossible even though they are seeing ghosts everywhere just made me laugh. Like seeing ghosts of everything including fish isn't enough to at least explore the possibility of her experience.
Hold up. If she was born on the 29th February and she's turning 18, how on earth would there be a 29th February on that year given leap years are every 4 years!?
Be quiet.
She's actually turning 72 but it's the 18th time she can celebrate it :)
Jk, it's a good question!
I question movie math too 😂 “it’s a movie” is always the response I’m given 🧮
Lol didnt even think about that. I guess neither did the writers
Most leap year babies either celebrate their birthday on the 28th of February or the 1st of March.
bro can take a 2 hour moive and make it into a 14 min video and i can still understand it conpletly
that should be easy to do, you can communicate ideas more quickly with words than visuals, and movies are a visual medium so much of the storytelling is done in scenes, helped along by the dialogue, but mostly told through visuals. hence why you could watch a lot of movies on mute and still have a rough idea of what is happening.
@@ataridc true also how dose the have 30 likes I haven’t seen this comment for a month
STOP with the lying titles, please!!! Just an honest description of the actual movie would still get views!!!
Maybe they're trying to avoid being found by the companies that own these intellectual properties
“Spectral absolute nonsense”
🤣🤣🤣 Gotta love this dude!
*It's mathematically impossible for someone's 18th birthday to be on the 29th of February. She should either be turning 16 or 20.*
I think it's ok considering all other illogical things in movie
I'm a math major and have no idea what you're talking about.. maybe I should switch majors? LOL
@@elysses if you truly are a math major, you should switch indeed. You are aware that a leap year occurs once every 4 years, right?
@@Vasilia4 ok, but wtf has a leap year got to do with maths
@@chess210the fact that it occurs every 4 years. Is 18 in the table of 4?
This is one of the rare recaps where I wish I had actually watched the movie instead. It didn't seem amazing, but I don't think I would have been angry about the time I wasted watching it.
Amazing recap for what must be a bewildering movie. Never seen something go from bleak and fascinating to complete and utter nonsense so fast
The most unbelievable part of this movie is that teacher affording that house
Someone wasn't paying attention....of all the nonsense in this movie, this one can actually be explained...
With all the people dying, maybe the housing market became more affordable?
Dude was a bigshot leading scientist in a resurrection program. Im sure he got paid enough to buy that house.
I saw this movie its actually really good and very sad, walking around seeing echos of your dead loved ones daily
ok
I feel adrift with no one telling me to “watch out and take care.”
🥺
Right 😢
watch out and take care
opposite here. Least in person. Always just "Well, why? What are you going to do to me? What evil could you be protecting me from?!?! FRIEND OR FOE?!?! WHAT DO YOU KNOW?!"
Veronica is the new Wynona Ryder.
Not "Yerkin' the gherkin"🙌🏾🤣 I freaking LOVE this narrator💜
2:32 " this teacher is useless so far" 😂😂😂HELP
"People flock from all over to see this girl's brutal, grisly murder."
*Girl backs up slowly and is strangled.*
... Those people must have a very limited imagination.
9:29 So that he could resurrect Claire through spectrotransbullshit 😂
I paid way more attention to the sarcasm in this recap then the recap of the movie itself lol
12:44
I swear, these little snide remarks be wild
“Spectro-absolute nonsense" 😂
10:02 i would like to quote one of my favorite german youtubers here: "well, that's one way to get rid of a character that has fulfilled his task." 😂
Best Recap ever love the sense of humor
"Spectraltransbullshit" - that caught me off guard. Funny.
That was quite an interesting story.
Mystery recap vocabulary:
Commit the unthinkable

Perplexed
A particle accelerator in Chicago pushed my suspension of disbelief to its breaking point.
Yes trust the high school teacher that invites you over to his house 🚩 then proceeds to build a room to lock you in 🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩
😂 😂 he could have used all that real estate to provide more details.
Your videos are very good. And they give a good heads up on which movies to watch and which to avoid.
Anyone else find yourself seriously considering actually watching a movie you otherwise wouldn't just because a couple of the best actors from The 100 are in it?
Yes. I gave up on searching for new movies based on anything other than particular actors.
Can I just say your recaps are fantastic dude. Thanks for the laughs.
Yeah, a male teacher agrees to see a teenage girl in private in his home ;)
It got an 8% on rotten tomatoes, I'm here to tell you its a pretty dam good movie👍
This is actually a cool concept of a movie. Enjoyed this recap
Dylan McDermott or Dermot Mulroney?
Even the narrator found parts of this plot semi-stupid. "Spectral Absolute Nonsense" hahahaa
It's what makes his recaps good 😂
Love that this is not voiced over by AI.
Lies, he said his when referring to a woman. They all seem confused when it comes to the genders of the characters they're talking about.
@@citrusbutter7718 Yeah, now and then in the past they showed the narrator's face but for ages now the voice has clearly been AI gen, even if it was trained on the original guy. There are regularly errors that this natural an English speaker simply wouldn't make.
@ItsAsparageese maybe he isn't a native english speaker original
The beginning sounded neat but then it goes from "you can see remnants of people like ghosts going about their daily lives" to "let's follow this random murder plot".
I really like watching your channel ❤,I felt that you put your emotions into every recap😂.
love your vids have a great day 👍
Aaah the third explosion, the death stranding
I would be shocked if a grown person wrote this story.
I love your commentary 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Interesting concept I am intrigued.
"Chicago is labeled a no-go zone." If only

"Yurkin the Gerkin" 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
The biggest at of assault I see in this is driving three days for a fake job interview. Someone would pay.
This has to be the most obvious plot twist ever
Little
When a ghost tells you to "run", it probably means they're warning you about something, yep. A more ambiguous option would have been 'get out'. Then you would at least be excused for assuming they want you to get out of their haunting grounds.
The actor playing Kirk is very versatile. I’d remember him from The 100. Surprised he survived but his character was a lot to take in, later seasons he became a fan favorite.
This looks so good! I'd like an episode 2!
Chicago would be extremely popular at Halloween time each year.
I wasn't expecting that not once, but twice someone would do THE UNTHINKABLE
The random jokes really makes the recap better and I'm glad the narrator doesn't sound like a robot!
That female remnant, in the classroom, at the beginning was not from the 80's. I lived in the 80's and no teenage girl would be caught dead wearing that. LOL. If I had to hazard a guess I would say she was from the late 50's or early 60's.
"He's doing that now? Rea-really?"
"This part of the story feels... insensitive" Your narration is the funniest of any out there!
seen it, it was awesome!
Great job.
Very interesting...and it looks like what happened to Rumfoord in "The Sirens of Titan" from Vonnegut.
I actually enjoyed this. Brian ended up being the good guy .
I love the ending gonna watch the movie!
It’s such a treat when Richard Harmon shows up in stuff.
Geez, this feels like a good idea that got put in the wrong hands.
Loving the channel, need more of your funny little comments, you're pretty damn funny, pleases 🙏
Who cares about the old intro? I like how he just keeps it going and
omg is that Richard Harmon?!?! I loved him in The 100 series he's so talented
The cockroach guy😂😊
"spectrotransbullshit" 🤣
5:05 Damn, did the guy dirty.
i love your new intro❤❤
The shadow bit was really unnecessary. Using real, lived tragic events as a metaphor in a sci fi movie shows a lot of insensitivity
Particle colliders cant melt down though....
“She should probably monetize that ish…”😩😩😩😆😆😆
With how many people commit "the unthinkable" in these movies, I'm starting to think it's not so unthinkable after all.
Love these stories
love the part where there's an apocalypse
"Spectraltransbullshit" 😂😂😂
they never explained the remnants from other eras
Lol…more detail in that real estate
“Well writing run the first time didn’t work. Better scribble it 50 more times”
bruh no way he jus tried to strangle her UNDERWATER
"declaring chicago a no go zone" so no change, who would willingly go to that hell hole?
Love the comedic ad-libs...SMILE!!!
I mean it was good, but the description is not at all for this movie
Nah, that’s just an average Chicago night. Move is spot on 😂
