    Nice all round concept for serious cruising, small and tough, junk rigged of course! Too cold for the babe in the Bikini I suppose, cos I noticed you don't have one..... High class cruising channel, well done! Fair winds, Balkan Shipyards.

    At 17:18 you were spot on for the weather situation for most of the summer of 2018 :-) Nice video as always!

    Hello from the US do you catch rainwater or do you carry enough for your long voyage and does your water freeze when you ate so far north? Thanks do enjoy your videos.

    As a sailor who cruises full time on a Joshua 40, I wonder what exercises you do on Mingming? At 65, I find I don't get enough exercise sailing to stay fit, and have developed a set of body weight exercises I do to try and keep up.

      Similar concerns drive NASA to develop exercise machines that are compact enough to fit even a space capsule like Orion. Imitating those solutions might be an interesting approach and I personally would find it fun if the some of the workout was converted to electricity to charge any toys on board, like the camera's batteries. Human power is very very low but enough for very small tasks and it would be a good additional motivation to work out if that was the price to pay for, say, playing music or whatever strikes one's fancy.
      www.nasa.gov/feature/exercise-device-for-orion-to-pack-powerful-punch -- this one's multi-purpose, and there's something funny about the thought of a rowing machine on a sailing yacht if you ask me.

    Forgive my ignorance, but how do you heave-to with a single sail?

    • @Anmeteor9663
      @Anmeteor9663 6 лет назад +1

      Not a traditional bermudan/gaffer heave to but more fore-reaching to windward with sail reduced and sheeted hard in.

      Thanks @@Anmeteor9663, it's not something I've ever really tried.

    Question: what is the purpose/function of the leather(?) attached to the yard, aft of the yard sling point? Thanks.
