- The college football game between Bryant and FIU had an exciting ending as the two teams exchanged scores down the stretch of the fourth quarter. First, Bryant took a 23-20 lead with six minutes remaining, but FIU quickly responded and took a 27-23 lead with four minutes left. Bryant then put together a perfect drive and scored what appeared to be the game winning touchdown with just 45 seconds remaining. On the next drive, FIU was faced with a 4th and 10 but a Bryant targeting penalty extended the drive. FIU was then able to quickly get in field goal range and sent the game to overtime tied at 30-30. In overtime, Bryant scored on the very first play to make it 37-30, but FIU responded and made it 37-36. The Panthers decided to go for the win, and converted the two point conversion to avoid an upset and defeat Bryant 38-37.

I’ll probably delete this soon cuz I know a lot of people don’t care about this game but this game was pretty crazy down the stretch. We came so close to our first FCS over FBS upset yesterday but Bryant, St. Francis, and Portland State all let us down 😓
You don’t have to delete you could move it to your 2nd channel if it doesn’t do good
Don’t delete this video if people watch your content they live football. I clicked on the title for an exciting ending and this video had an exciting ending I don’t care if the teams are in fbs or fcs. Keep up the great work!!!
Football is football
It’s college football, I care
My guy, I don't have cable and usually don't have time for football cause I work like a dog, please don't delete any of your content, it's the only CFB I get to see
After upsetting a powerhouse like Bryant I think FIU has what it takes to win the national championship!
FIU can beat anybody this year there stacked #0 chambers Rey show we he need to be a second-third round draft pick
I'M calling it FIU vs Ohio State for the National Championship
Don’t get to ahead of yourself 😂😂😂
@@robertcarroll2121 I feel like you’re being serious.
@@huntersmith1222 fiu vs vandy confirmed??
This is why I love all college football.
Whether it's a high-profile matchup like Penn State versus Purdue, or it's a really great game like this that not a lot of people watched.
I know I can always count on your channel to bring the best content.
Not according to usc fans apparently
that's not a high profile matchup lol
This might be the only game FIU wins this season
I really like how you titled the video without saying who won. It let me be surprised by how it played out.
This is why I love watching non-power 5 teams play. Usually it's the best game
Most mainstream CFB fans don’t understand
@@TheMan750 oh I do, I love staying up and watching the midnight games going on because I know its going to be a fun game. sometimes the announcers will say some crazy stuff, like one time in 2016 (i think) one of the announcers you could tell was drunk and was saying crazy things about this dog ( golden retriever) and the other announcer was like WTF are talking about LMAO. god I wish I could find that game I cant even recall who was playing.
I had this game on because Bryant was up 16-0 and then again when it was super close down the stretch. Was awesome to experience live!
lucky you have espn +
@@jh60thegoat It was on ESPN3, not +. And even though I'm supposed to get it, it wasn't working for me so I had to go through alternative methods
@@muffinnnnnnnnn i don’t think i have that channel either :(
@@jh60thegoat If you get ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, etc ESPN3 usually comes with it
@@muffinnnnnnnnn alr
I love football so glad it’s back
FIU did what the ravens could never do.
Don’t delete it I love the clips of games like these.
Gosh, so many bad FCS teams have moved up to FBS (and I don't just mean bad in FBS but bad in FCS as well) that the top-tier teams in FCS are pretty easily superior teams to the lower tiers of the FBS now. If a middling FCS team can almost beat an FBS team...
1:11 Just a little bit of a hold there by the LT
Love it when a Rhode Island team gets featured on highlights, we don’t get it often lmao
Saved by targeting call
Saved by bad targeting call.
Zevi should be the starting qb for the rest of the season. If Zevi would've played the entire game we be talking bout an upset. Poor coaching decision by far!!!!!
Lol thank you for posting my alma mater!! Didn't even know they were playing this week!!
yessir FIU gang 🙏💯✅
Had to give it a like very exciting game to the last play
Wow, the refs basically handed FIU the win
THANK YOU!!! I was hoping for a fun football video to watch before bed, Now i'm fuming at whats a penalty in 2022 PC football
U should upload the ending of the Akron game from last night if ur able to cuz it went to overtime and ended with an interception in the end zone 💪
Uploaded it on the second channel ruclips.net/video/3BnzDNb7zR0/видео.html
College football is College football....keep the video posted.
I was trying to find a way to watch this hoping for an upset but not only was I disappointed by not finding it, but by the lack of an upset too
this is the future of CUSA. thoughts and prayers
That "targetting" call was BS. He lowered his shoulder into his chest. It had nothing to do with either player's helmet.
It’s absolutely targeting. You don’t have to like the rule, but by the rule there’s no doubt that was targeting.
@@shivtim shoulder to chest is not targeting. Stay on the couch, kid.
@@Fast_Travel_Gamer I'm not the one who thinks he knows more than NFL referees. It's literally their job. Nice try though, kid.
@Peters6221 it’s part of the game being played. The defender put his head to the side and used his shoulder, as is taught, to hit the other player in the chest. If you’re that soft, then please stay away from the game of football. No wonder people are a bunch of sissies now, you can’t even get away with a legal hit anymore.
Game should have never went into OT. I hate the targeting rule. WR's head is literally below waist height what is the defender supposed to do just let him catch it. If that's the case take the pads of them and just make it 7 on 7.
Targeting is called too often and 90% of the hits don't warrant an ejection, but this one was kind of a textbook example of a really dangerous play that is pretty much exactly what the rule is meant to prevent. That's the kind of hit that causes brain damage, or worse.
@@anthonystudans67
I understand the need for the rule. But to me this is not textbook the problem I have is this is a game changing play where a receiver is laying out for the ball and the DB is to far from the ball to play it so he plays the receiver. The DB goes shoulder down which would be below the waist but the WR is coming in head first. What options does the DB have to impact the play in this situation? Basically none that's why I have a problem with it. They are taking the players ability to make an impact play but allowing the WR the ability to by laying out for the ball. I have yet to see any ref call a RB for ducking his head which was implemented like what 2 years ago. The offense already had so much stacked in their favor might as well just put them out there by themselves and let them play.
@Peters6221
In your own words WR was falling so how is his head at shoulder height he can't be falling and head at shoulder height. In the end it doesn't matter. Football will always be an offensive game with the rules stacked against the defense. I mean they just this year made cut blocking outside the tackle box a foul. The only reason the helmet to helmet rule was implemented was to take pressure off the NCAA and the multi million dollar universities when the NFL CTE scandal hit.
W0W!
thats my family at headcoach lets gooo
Maybe we’ll have another fun season with upsets
Conference USA: Bend, but never break
This announcer sounds like Mr. Hurricane
If 1-A (I refuse to call it FCS and you can go to hell if you don't like it) won't have a tournament like every other division there is absolutely no reason for there to be 130 teams in 1-AA.
Post the Akron highlights
Put it on the second channel ruclips.net/video/3BnzDNb7zR0/видео.html
@@pschighlights thanks legend
Poor Bryant :(
Dang, no upsets yet? Back to normal I guess.
Yea maybe tonight 🤞
Best chance to be upset are Kansas and VT. Virginia Tech because it’s at Old Dominion and Kansas because Kansas.
@@saintbrownthetrojan why not just watch the game
@@TheMan750 Never. I watch the Trojans but no one else.

Shades of Chiefs-Raiders a couple years ago?
I thought Bryant was a name not a school.
CNN IS REPORTING.....
FIU will replace Marshall & FAU with Miami South ridge & Westminster Academy.
That definitely wasn’t targeting.
Horrible call. It was all shoulder to chest. Neither player's helmet touched the other.
Is this announcer fighting thru some medical emergency, like the hypnotist before he dies, in Office Space?
Big Tyme Chambers..... BALTIMORE FINEST AND BRIGHTEST
I didn't even know bryant had a football team lmao
Dang
I agree with you. You're probably right, just delete it. Kinda potato video quality anyways.
This is exactly why my Thundering Herd had to move on to the Sun Belt. CUSA is a garbage conference.
No Marshall moved to sunbelt because they suck
WKU is not garbage
Talk about home cooking for FIU.... 🙄
😂😂😂😂what a win. Gonna win natty 100%
Maaan the refs punished Bryant at the end for GOOD defense… like what are you supposed to do! Targeting was a boom boom play and the PI call was just good defense smh
That was not targeting. His helmet hit cause he went outside shoulder for the hit with his inside shoulder. I hate that rule. He just got lit up, that’s what happens entering the no fly zone
Lol and this was the same time that beat Miami recently? Probably looks even worse now!!
Oh yea they’ve gone down a cliff since beating Miami. They lost to FCS Jacksonville State in 2020 and went 1-11 last year.
Funny how I was watching this and said damn they really beat us 2 years ago
1st
National championship ha ha ha 🤪
I would feel bad for Bryant losing based on that targeting call, but ... that was really, really bad targeting. That's the kind of hit that ends careers, if not lives, and it can't be legal if we expect football to continue to be played.
You stupid? He put his shoulder into the chest of the receiver. That is just how you are taught to hit. Quit watching football. If you are that soft, your couch might begin to hurt you.
