Just started using inventora as well, it’s going great but one quick top - an easy way to enter a supply order without having to do manual calculations is to use the supply order feature under “more” it will factor in the shipping and taxes across the entire order for the COGS.
Yes I am aware. However, I wanted to demonstrate it manually because I believe as a business owner you need to understand how to do it when new situations come up. For example when releasing new products and trying to price accurately. Can’t always rely on computers; rely on your brain🙂 knowing your numbers is power! I use computers and systems to manage my business and make things easier but I need to learn how i arrived at those numbers lol.

Ok so when I get more of the same wax it will cost a different price how will I get the right pricing so when I do my cogs at the end of the month I doesn’t mess it up?
I ask because apparently my tax person last year was awful and the current one is asking for the inventory amount. Any info you can provide me would be soooo appreciated :)
@@LadyCIMONNECandleCo I guess in order to file taxes the IRS asks for what you started with with your inventory and what you ended with at the end of the year. Girl I need a drink trying to figure this out lol

This really helped me visualize and see what a product list is. I am fine with the materials, but products confused me.

Not sure exactly what you mean but it tracks and audits everything you need for taxes👍🏽
