My own self-sabotaging behaviors (vices) and trying to justify them using irrational reactions. It took me to break down and cry, pray, look at the situation from a different lens and bring that energy to use towards a couple important goals (one professional and one personal). Perhaps this was a blessing in disguise because I could pull out some important ideas and alternative ways to deal with the issues I was giving myself. I still my bodymind, sit erect and do breathwork, checking in w/ my body. Head rotations are good and, since we spend much of the time in our heads, oxygenate your brain!!!! How many here have become aware they're holding their breath??? Sitting, legs spread apart, bend at the waist, dropping your head and arms toward the floor. You may feel tingling after a minute or so. It's okay. Just close your eyes and visualize your brain being nourished w/ oxygen. And don't just hang there limply--stretch till your hands and/or elbows touch the floor. Return to upright sitting position, bc you may feel lightheaded. Keep breathing. In deeply thru your nose and into your belly; out thru your mouth for as long as you can. Focus!
Now, sitting erect, stretch your head & neck upwards while dropping your shoulders. Try to touch your elbows together behind your back. Rotate your spine, turning left & right. By now you'll want to stand, stretch, MOVE ("Alexa, play The Rolling Stones"). DANCE, Lucille! Now. This moment. Feel the Joy of the gifts of this day, this life!!!! We chose it, after all.
