It's a nice cityscape. It's a country far from Japan where I live, but sharing the video in this way made me feel like taking a walk. Thank you very much. from Japan.
@@4KExplorer do not think so. This city's 250 public parks, plus the extensive 52 square miles of National parks inside city boundaries and over 4.5 million trees give each lucky Sheffielder more precious trees than anywhere else. Regards
Many thanks posting this well composed and presented film. Just one correction to your preface. Sheffield is actually in the West Riding of Yorkshire, South Yorkshire is political abomination imposed on the area in 1973/74. The government of the time did the same to many other areas in England resulting in many historical County and Regions losing their ancient names. Even the Royal Mail recognise this and allow the use of the historic County names to be used on items posted providing the correct post code is used. On such a lovely day the City seemed very quiet. Maybe it was because of the draconian ant-cars rules imposed by the Council, I wonder how many disabled and older people manage. On a personal note, I wish the Council would instruct the transport operators to remove the hideous liveries on the busses and trams and require them to paint them in the correct Sheffield Liveries of the Sheffield Transport Department. Other cities have done done this i.e. Edinburgh and it looks much better.
Thanks for the kind words! I made an amendment to the description in regard to the West Riding of Yorkshire. They really did a lot of messing around with the counties in the 70s!
Honestly I'm not sure. It seemed less busy than other cities on the day of filming, but that could have been to do with it being mid-morning after the school run or something.
It's probably slightly quiet but it's definitely not a hustle and bustle city centre anymore. You go to Meadowhall for that. That place is always packed.
I lived there for two years. I love it very much. Sheffield is a beautiful city and its views are wonderful
Love the waterfall and those public spaces and buildings are spectacular.
There is always so much to feel, to see, to indulge when I'm looking at the world via your channel. Thanks so much! Always a treat!
Thanks for stopping by!

Thanks, I appreciate it!
pleasant walk through the streets where everything is calm and quiet
Beautiful town walk. The cathedral and peace gardens area are amazing.
Thanks! Yeah, they're kind of unique.
Sheffield is quite hilly. Love the green hills behind.
europe`s greenest city under the sun looking awesome and offering so many different architectural styles one after another. thx
Europe's greenest city? Hmm, I'm guessing the inspectors forgot that Meadowhall is part of Sheffield.
